Location was great and clean. It had what we needed. We loved our stay. The owner was also helpful with suggestions for other activities since our initial plan was to go to Yellowstone.
Old college friends enjoyed a bucket list trip to Yellowstone. The cabin was nicer and cleaner and more spacious than we expected. It was a great experience with very comfortable accommodation!

Beautiful little cabin
Cute little place to stay. Very clean. Very little kitchen stuff so be prepared and bring stuff if you plan on cooking. With very few restaurants/shopping nearby cooking was a big priority for us. The driveway was HORRIBLE with holes and ruts to drive in. It was hard to get ahold of anyone when there was a problem and it seemed to be passed around as to who was responsible for what. But did eventually get answers for most things except why the WiFi didn’t work. No one seemed to know so we were never able to use it. Checkout was a nightmare and caused us to be late heading home on our 24 hour drive because we couldn’t make contact with anyone. The restaurant near the convenient store was awesome and had amazing service! They even serve gluten free items which worked great for our son. Would definitely stay there again if they could work some kinks out with who’s in charge of what and how to get ahold of whoever is in charge.
We enjoyed the large space the room had to offer. The layout is a little odd, but fit us all well. It could use a tv in both spaces. We had a great time using the room and exploring the many sites in town and in the park.
The other reviewers are correct when they say the photos don't do this property justice. The place is huge. My family of four stayed here while visiting Yellowstone and we loved it. The kitchen was stocked with the tools we needed, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The lodge has a well-stocked convenience store which was really handy when we needed ice and other small items. I rated a 4/5 only because we never had enough hot water. We'd make it through about one and a half quick showers before the hot water was completely gone.
Staying here was super convenient and a great location to all surrounding areas. The kitchen had all the tools n ended for my cooking. I appreciated the full-size coffee pot. The bathroom was really clean. My son said The pull out so far it was not the most comfortable.
The pictures on the listing for this place do not do it justice! Rooms were larger than expected, very clean and updated! We hope to book here again in the future!
Casey’s Island Park location was as described and was very comfortable for our family. Great location for exploring island park area and for visiting Yellowstone NP. Unfortunately the park was closed during our visit, but we filled it with plenty of sites around Island Park. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
Clean nice property about 35 minutes from West Yellowstone entrance. Full kitchen with pots and pans to cook! Perfect for our family of 4. Nice base camp for our visits to the park. We did horseback riding at Harriman State Park which was excellent!!!
The check in process was great, we arrived late at night and the staff at Ponds Lodge were accommodating. The cabin was very clean, had all the amenities you needed for a weekend stay. The cabin we stayed in was spacious. Casey answered my questions promptly. I would stay here again!
We had a great time at this location. The property was very clean and well taken care off and it proximity to yellowstone was the main reason for it and it def did not disappoint. We even saw a moose and her calf very early in the morning right next to our cabin which was very exciting.
When I originally booked this property I thought I had paid for the one with 2 queen rooms and a living room with a pullout couch (sleeps 6), also thought we had a grill and all HOWEVER arriving we found out that was apparently the property next door .. ours had 1 room with 2 queen beds and a living room with a pullout couch (no tv in the living room) so after calling and speaking to casey I found out that I had in fact paid for the smaller room.. I asked why I was charged the same amount for the larger one and she stated it was because of vrbo charges I said “I thought I booked through vrbo to save money??… casey replied “oh no you don’t SAVE any money using vrbo” I got very angry and hung up. After talking with my family we decided to make it work both families slept in 1 room for a week and kids slept in the pullout, I had to go and ask for a tv from the actual lodge so our kids could at least have their own space. So as far as vrbo goes I probably won’t ever book through them again because of this experience….. but ponds lodge on the other hand was absolutely beautiful and we are planning a trip back in the winter!!! We saw moose outside our back door!! Amazing views!!!
This was a fabulous spot for our family. We were close to Yellowstone National Park for our daily adventures yet could be in our “home” for nightly dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Thanks for the great space, we will happily reserve again for our return trip.
This place was amazing! I'm super picky about where we stay because of cleanliness and this place was like brand new. Exactly as described and quiet. We were super late checking in because of the crowds in West Yellowstone on July 4th and they waited for us to get there well after 11 p.m.! We will definitely stay here again!
Everything about our stay was awesome! The cabin was clean and the perfect place to rest after a long day at Yellowstone! The Pond’s Lodge had delicious pizza and the people were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!
A short and easy drive to the West Entrance to Yellowstone. About 30 minutes or so. We liked getting into the park very early in the mornings to beat the huge crowds and this was a perfect place to stay for that.
The rental itself is VERY spacious and the kitchen was fully outfitted with everything we needed - even for cooking small dinners. The weather was unseasonably very hot and the A/C was a welcome relief!
The staff was extremely helpful and there is a restaurant/lounge right on the property. Was a nice spot to stop after a hot day of hiking for a cold beer with many craft options. There is also a small convenience store onsite for helpful things like ice and snacks.
Highly recommend this property and owner if you are planning to explore Yellowstone.
The trip was enhanced by our stay here. We enjoyed coming home to a large living area and comfortable beds. We enjoyed the kitchen area and cooked many meals. We were in the area to fish lakes, rivers and creeks. We were able to accomplish all of our goals for fun. We would love to come back and stay here. The staff at check in and check out were friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the Great memories!
I was very impressed with this location. We ended up staying 2 nights here and then the next 2 in the park. To sum it all up, I wish we would have stayed here the whole time.
