Christmas Vacation

This house, the surroundings and snow fall were exactly what we were looking for in a family Christmas getaway! The neighborhood and location was quiet, peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed snowmobiling, hot tubbing, snowshoeing and relaxing around the horse stall barn-dominium style house. Loved it all!

Luxury Extended Weekend Retreat

The Yellowstone House was the perfect accommodation for our family weekend retreat. The cabin is new and in pristine condition with high end finishes throughout. The bedroom wing provided a comfortable, private space for each couple with ample bedding, pillows, a separate bathroom and smart TV in each room. There is a sliding door from each bedroom out to a large deck area in the back of the cabin, perfect for sitting out and enjoying nature. The cousins loved staying together in the huge bunk room which also has a dedicated bathroom and smart TV. We planned to prepare meals at the cabin, and were pleased to find a well-stocked kitchen, with double refrigerator/freezers, and a professional stainless range with double ovens. With extensive counter space there was plenty of room for multiple people to assist with meal prep. For most meals the adults sat around the dining table, with the kids ate together lined up on barstools at the counter. The kitchen space is open and has large windows facing the back of the property. We spent a fair amount gathered around the table to assemble a puzzle and play games as a family. The drive to Yellowstone Park was under an hour. We spent a rainy day there, and were eager to return to the cabin to dry off and warm up by the fire. Despite the rain, Yellowstone was spectacular! Everyone should see it in their lifetime. There has already been discussion about another family trip to the Yellowstone House in the summer months when it is warmer outside. My son is convinced that there are fish in the stream that runs through the property and wants to bring his fishing pole. The Yellowstone House is an ideal place for a group gathering and we'll definitely visit again!

The only problems were the left side of the toaster didn’t work and only one blow dryer for the whole household. Otherwise it was an excellent stay. The best we’ve ever had with VRBO!!!

The property was absolutely beautiful and exactly as advertised. We had a great trip! It's very remote, which worked well for us, mainly because the house has good wifi, which can be somewhat challenging to find in that region.Owners were responsive to messages, and the property was enchanting. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Family vacation

We had family traveling from Oregon and Arizona and The Yellowstone House was the perfect place to meet in the middle. The home was amazing and the 6 acres of property was simply beautiful. The family, including our dogs, all thoroughly enjoyed the property. The stream out back was a favorite for the dogs and my 8 year old nephew. They thought of everything with the house amenities as well. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!!!

Perfect location for any get away!

The house was perfect for 16 ladies to get away on a weekend girls trip! The rooms were nice and spacious, especially having a bathroom for every bedroom and an extra toilet area near the kitchen. The house sits on a beautiful property that was easy to find using Google Maps and is a nice scenic drive to the nearest grocery store to grab food for the weekend. The kitchen was also great with a huge island and table to accommodate all the guests and our activities we had planned. It came fully stocked with almost any utensil, cooking pot, serving dish you could need. The firepit was a highlight, so much fun spending time around the fire, making smores, and looking up at the stars. The house wasn't too far from West Yellowstone so we were able to also adventure in the National Park to see Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic and do some souvenir shopping in town. You can tell that Ali and Jeremy took careful consideration when planning this vacation rental! Will definitely be back again!
