This property is seasonally lakefront. Water levels on Island Park Reservoir fluctuate throughout the year. Typically, the water is highest in spring and early summer, and by late August the shoreline may recede. When water levels are up, guests can enjoy direct lake access and use the dock located right next to the cabin. When the water is lower, the dock may sit on dry ground, but the reservoir is still accessible nearby for boating, fishing, and swimming.

*This cabin does not have central air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the cool Island Park evenings, refreshing mountain air, and ceiling/portable fans provided for comfort.

*WINTER: Roads are plowed but we HIGHLY recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle during Fall, Winter and Spring months.

Relaxing with some fun!

We had a great stay. The set up of the house is perfect for visiting, cooking, and seeing the beauty of the outdoors. The game/family room was amazing and so much fun.

The cabin was very nice! All the conveniences just like home ! Everything you need to make meals there’s a washer and dryer. There is plenty of space for a lot of people they provide all the linens. The game room was a lot of fun! The hot tub was great! There’s a propane barbecue! A fire pit! We had a blast! Not too far from Yellowstone! There are plenty of gas stations and restaurants and there’s a grocery store nearby.

Beautiful location and great amenities like the hot tub and game room, but the maintenance is lacking. Our truck was damaged by a malfunctioning gate (no signs posted about a 10-second timer), and the furnace kept going out. The cabin also wasn't clean—dust and crumbs under furniture and dirty vents. Safety concerns include loose deck railings and scalding hot tap water. Also, bring your own kitchen cloths as none were provided. Great potential here, but needs a better cleaning crew and a handyman.

Great communication with host however listing needs to be updated due to water levels you do not have access to the dock. Fortunately for us we were using kayaks so drove the truck down and able to still enjoy the water.

Family Vacation

The interior was exceptionally family friendly and comfortable. Could use some cleaning supplies for the kitchen. The outside of the property needs some work. Granted, winters are hard here, but yard and decks require maintenance. Upper deck had some weak boards that were unstable. Vegetation was over grown around property. BBQ was in poor shape and unusable. The photos provided of the exterior are not accurate.
