10/10 Reviews from our past guests!
A wonderful time! We had such a wonderful time at the cabin! It was clean and ready for us when we arrived, Melissa did a wonderful job. The pond and campfire were so great, we even had a moose come visit us a few times! The cabin was great for our group of 7 to have dinners and play games, but still have room enough for privacy. The location was great for going kayaking and to Yellowstone, too! We would gladly go back again.
Near Yellowstone. It was just right for our needs. Our family enjoyed the fire pit , the large dining table, the deck, the upper deck, the comfortable beds, the big tub ( roomy for our toddlers to splash and play), the wooden swing, throwing rocks in the water , and looking for frogs. The location was convenient to Yellowstone and we enjoyed kayaking ,fishing at the reservoir and playing in the water. A larger area to store meal prep needs would be great, but overall a great home and location.
Great for outdoors! Simple, rustic place with all the basics you need to cook indoors or out, sleep a bunch of people, entertain, and/or just chill. Do laundry if you need to. They’ve even added a hot tub since our last stay! And the area is great for outdoor adventures and wildlife! We’ve rented a couple of times and would do it again.
Nestled among the trees in Island Park, this charming rustic cabin invites you to unwind in nature's embrace. With ample space to accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably, it's an ideal retreat for the whole family. Start your mornings on the first or second-floor deck with a steaming cup of coffee, or indulge in a relaxing soak in the hot tub on the first-floor deck. Gather around the fire pit in the evenings to toast marshmallows and share stories while enjoying the serene surroundings. The cabin overlooks a tranquil pond, providing a peaceful backdrop and attracting local wildlife.

Awesome property the kids loved the bunnies and the fire pit. The location was perfect island park is far enough away from West Yellowstone and offers lots of peace and quiet. Thank you for introducing us to Idaho we will return!

Great cabin. The only thing the hot tub runs alot. And if your in the bed room on the first floor its very load when it serqulates water to keep it hot. Other then that it was a great cabin
We stayed here for our trip to Yellowstone. It is about a 30 min drive to the park but we didn’t mind at all (we went for 3 days). It was nice to leave the hustle and bustle of West Yellowstone. House was great and had AMPLE room for the 4 of us. Could sleep multiple families. Hot tub on the deck is amazing. I loved watching my family cook s’mores in the fire pit while sitting in the hot tub. :) There is some road noise (as other reviews have said) but it wasn’t a deal breaker by any means. Couches were super comfy. Had a great stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay is an understatement. Melissa made sure all the details at the house were in order down to fire wood for the fire pit.
We were a group of 5 which the size of the house easily handled.
The house has many amenities that enhanced our stay including 2 outside decks.
We based our Yellowstone NP vacation from here which is about 30-min from the house.
The only drawback is noise from the road by the house.
We would stay here again and would highly recommend the house.
Melissa was very responsive which just added to a very positive experience.
Thank you!

We were a party of 8 and used the cabin for 5 nights as our base for visiting Yellowstone, 4-wheeling to West Yellowstone, Mesa Falls, Bear World and a rodeo. The cabin is located off of US20 and made it easy to get to wherever we needed. During the day there was some road noise, but you could hardly hear it inside the cabin.
The cabin was stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware, towels, etc.
After reading many reviews, we were hoping to see a Moose in the pond, but that didn't happen. Lots of ducks out there though. My only wish was that the area around the swings and fire pit would have been trimmed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Blue Springs Pond Cabin! Our arrival was smooth and the new property manager (Michealene) was immediately available any time we had a need or a question. Having a bedroom downstairs was wonderful for us (the grandparents) and the two adults and two kids were all comfortable in the two bedrooms plus the loft upstairs. With a bathroom on each floor, it worked quite well for us. Though the accommodations are simple and the bedrooms not large, the living and dining rooms are spacious with adequate seating and table space for a group even larger than ours. Overall, we enjoyed the ambience of the cabin. The kitchen was well supplied and adequate for any meal. There is road noise outside, but it isn’t noticeable inside the cabin. A special treat for us was seeing a large bull moose in the pond on the first night we were there. The distance to Yellowstone was actually perfect, giving us a little time together in the car at the beginning and end of the day. On the days we didn’t visit Yellowstone, there were several other nearby places of interest. I highly recommend Blue Springs Pond Cabin for a family vacation.
Blue Springs Pond Cabin was a taste of heaven for our family. I wish we were still there! We experienced a wonderful bonding time for our family and created beautiful memories.
The cabin was immaculately clean thanks to the hard work of Melissa. There were comfortable beds, ample blankets, plush towels, comfy sofas, a huge variety of kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The kids loved the tv and vcr movie selection. The adults loved the big tv, Netflix and internet connection.
The setting and location were ideal. We visited Yellowstone every day. We were thrilled with our stay and highly recommend this property. Contact with the property manager was instant. The pond and fire pit were really fun.
Outstanding property! Thank you so very much for sharing it with us. We would love to come again!
This property would be really wonderful for a couple who wanted to include their grown children and grandchildren. There are ample beds, ample dinning room chairs and even more than one outdoor porch with seating. It would be great fun for an extended family to stay here.

The property was nice enough and accommodating. I was glad there was a dishwasher and lots of kitchen supplies.
There were some dishes put away dirty so I felt like I had to wash everything before using it.
The turn off for the drive way is on the main road and a bit hard to find.
We were disappointed to find that the fire pit area was swarmed with ants on the logs where you sit. It looked like no one had used any of the outdoor areas and they were not well kept. We were disappointed to not be able to use the hot tub because there was something growing on the sides.
The beds were loud and uncomfortable. And we woke up to construction workers outside before 8:00 a.m. on one of the days of our visit.
Checking in and out was easy and the hosts communicated well.
I liked that there was an electric fireplace however I did not know it was turned on and the place got very warm.
Even after turning it off we had to sleep with the windows open during our July stay.
The rug by the front door makes it so you can't open the door all the way.
The property was overall okay and was accommodating for 9 people. The kitchen had lots of cooking supplies; however, dishes in the cupboards felt dirty so we had to hand wash everything before using it. The coffee pot wasn’t working but the host got us one in a day which was a huge plus.
The driveway accommodated both of our vehicles but finding the property off the highway was difficult because it wasn’t marked very well. Traffic is loud during the day but at night quiets down so you can leave windows open at night to let cooler air in.
Lots of bath towels were provided which was a huge plus for our big group. The checkout list stated we were to start a load of towels but the laundry soap was empty (good thing we traveled with some).
Our family was very disappointed in the outdoor area as it hadn’t been mowed so we couldn’t have fires or use the swings. The host stated they got a hold of the persons in charge of outdoor maintenance and stated it would be mowed on the Tuesday of our stay but it wasn’t mowed before we left on Saturday. The hot tub water was extremely low and wasn’t covering the jets so we were worried to use it but host us told it was fine to use. It’d be great to have access to a hose for filling the hot tub if needed. We chose this specific property for the outdoor accommodations so this was truly disappointing.
Internet worked great!
We had a good time at the cabin. It fit our need for our stay. It needs a few updates but overall was okay. The tub upstairs you were not able to stand in to use the shower handle & needs sewer vent so the sewer smell doesn’t come up in the house threw the shower drain downstairs.
The cabin was cozy with comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed using the fire pit. The downstairs bathroom was very small and there was a lot of traffic noise when windows were open. We were allowed to check in early which was very helpful.
The property was great. The checkin was easy and the property manager, Melissa was very helpful, when we were delayed. The only thing different from the pictures is that there is another very large building being built right against the cabin that's not in the pictures. Also, bring fans. There is no AC which being in the mountains is NOT an issue, especially with fans to put in the windows. The nights cool down nicely unless you are stuck sleeping in the room across from the upstairs bathroom. It has no window to open and seemed to collect all the heat in the house. I think what I loved most is that we weren't packed in like sardines in side by side cabins like many of the places in the area. We were alone and this place had everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience and if we return I will try to definitely there again! Wish we had booked it for longer.
We enjoyed our stay here. The property is older and right off highway 20 so you do get the noise from the traffic. The grounds are beautiful and maintained. Melissa called us prior to arrival to let us know how to find the property which was very appreciated. The place was clean when we arrived sheets and towels smelled freshly laundered. the downstairs shower smells a little of mildew, you can’t see any in the shower. The place was comfortable and cozy regardless, we enjoyed our stay. My kids want to go back. The fire pit and seating was perfect for an evening campfire.
