Listing was accurate and perfect for our Yellowstone family gathering. Tons of dishes to accomodate meals and plenty of space to spread out.
Would highly recommend this listing!
Great cabin and perfect for large extended family. Lots of parking, private, close to kayak, tube and RZR rentals at Island Park.
Wi-Fi is not predclictable.
Need an extra table for deck or fold up table for 20+. Only one table in kitchen to eat at.
Wow! Very clean and modern accommodations. Great location next the lift to the top of Big Mtn. Loved the heated bathroom floors! We couldn't figure out how to get the TV's in the rooms to connect, but the main room TV worked fine.
Would highly recommend this place.
We had 20 people with 11 adults and 9 kids (0-9) staying in this cabin. Plenty of space for everyone. Kids in the loft with quiet adults on the main level and the more fun adults on the lower level. We had everything we needed for a great family trip. If we forgot something the grocery store across the highway was well stocked with anything we needed. The drive to West Yellowstone was easy and quick (25 minutes). We had a great time.

A cabin outside of Yellowstone park........wonderful place to stay for a family reunion !
A beautiful home tucked into the woods......
The kitchen was fabulous , wish my was as good at my home!.....the dinning table was used as a planning table for the next day for all of us
The weather was cold so we did not get much use of the hot tub or back porch........but we did not need it or have much time to use it.
We all loved it and would love to return someday!
Clean and conveniently laid out for large groups! Plenty of kitchen space for making meals, amazing grill and hot tub on the deck with nice views. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. Lots of comfy sitting spots where adults could talk and laugh. Kids LOVED the loft upstairs. Two sets of washer and dryers helped laundry load for travelers who had come in from father our of town. FULLY stocked kitchen! Plenty of quiet and privacy. 100% we will visit again! Also, PLEASE Go see Yellowstone Playhouse near by! Great show and great food!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was beautiful and clean. There was room for everyone to spend time together We enjoyed making memories there! We will be there again.

Liked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Nice place,
Cabin was real nice, garbage left on window sills in a couple of bedrooms, very dusty in shelves etc, hadn’t had a good cleaning in a while. hot tub broken, took nearly 24 hours for a response. They said they would compensate for no hot tub. The cabin itself was nice and concenient.
Perfect location and perfect house for a family gathering
First time in island park and when we come again we will stay at the same house! It is perfectly located close to Mountain adventures and the small grocery store. The kitchen is very well stocked with slow cookers and griddles and it has a great BBQ. We loved the hot tub. There were plenty of rooms and bathrooms. Beds were great.
The upstairs loft was hot but there were plenty of fans. Bring your own pillows if possible.
It’s a great house and great location and we loved it.
Every year the family gets together for a special weekend. Huckleberry retreat has been one of the nicest places we have stayed in the Island Park area. The home was spacious, well laid out to host a family of 20. Clean and had everything we needed. We would certainly consider Huckleberry again when we come to Island Park, Summer or winter. Thank you for being so accomendating.
There were 20 of us, 4 families with kids ranging from 1 to the adult “kids”. This home was clean and well stocked. We didn’t have to go out to purchase any additional supplies during our stay. This was a huge plus! 1 minor complaint, the hot water didn’t last for 20 showers, even with some kids’ 2-minute showers but lasted through most. I say “minor” because it is understandable with a large group especially because we didn’t stagger showers between mornings and evenings. After a long day at the park, everyone in my group wanted to be clean before going to bed.
Great for the 15 of us! Lots of space, good sleeping arrangements and gathering spaces. Big kitchen table, nice bedding and towels. Loved the hot tub, and it was nice and clean. The only things we would change are: The pillows on the bed, everyone said they were way too thin and very uncomfortable. And the lack of Wifi made it hard to communicate with the hosts. I never could download the check-out information they sent on our second to last day. We really really needed WiFi.
Also, just be aware, if you stay here on the off season, which starts Oct. 1, lots of things are closed, like the Subway and other restaurants. And the tiny grocery store closes really early, when you are usually still getting home from Yellowstone and other activities.
All in all we had a great time and would consider staying here again.
We loved the location of the cabin. It had a great kitchen with plenty of pots, pans, and dishes. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. I highly recommend for large family gatherings.
We had a great time. The house was very clean, well stocked with linens, and organized well. We did run out of hot water one night but other than that the house easily accommodated the 19 of us.
