LoveJoy Cottage in quaint historic Coupeville. views of Penn Cove - Pet friendly

"Lovejoy Cottage was cozy and comfortable and our host, Susan, was excellent! Easy to communicate with and quick to reply. The location is great, outside of downtown with a small view of the water. The bed was very comfortable, great linens and towels. The cottage has a wonderful, big farm table and lots of artwork and collectibles. I loved all of it, however, there wasn’t much space for our things without shifting what was there. I was fine with shifting things and putting them back on checkout day but it is something to be aware of. The one and only true negative for us was the location of the kitchen sink, in the bathroom. Our solution was to eat meals at restaurants, which wasn’t a hardship for us. A bowl or cup was no problem to use and wash but we didn’t want to have to wash pots and pans, etc, in that small sink. But coffee in the morning, watching the deer come and go all around the cottage was blissful. Susan was very helpful with advice and recommendations for the area as well."

"This place was absolutely beautiful. Beautifully furnished, very very clean, spacious, comfortable, excellent amenities, gorgeous courtyard area and grounds, and very private even though only 2 short blocks to Front Street. Our 3 families, 9 people reunion had 3 beautiful separate areas with ample room in the big house and courtyard for gatherings. The instructions from the owners were clearly written and easy to follow. This was an excellent place to stay at a very reasonable price. We would stay there again if we return to Coupeville!"
