"Large comfortable home in the Big Creek area set in a lush tropical setting which is minutes walk to the beach. Enjoyed the serenity of the setting and was a short taxi ride to town. We saw a family of howler monkeys come close to the property daily which was a real treat.Lea was a great host and got us in contact with a reliable taxi service that used during our stay."

"The house has a fantastic view. What was not mentioned is that it is literally 97 steps to get to it. When it rains some of the path way is very muddy. One of the wooden steps is not attached. There are chickens and roosters all around which is entertaining except when the roosters start crowing at 2am. "The property itself is beautiful - quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you’re looking to relax and disconnect a bit. The room was in great shape and very comfortable. There's no direct beach access from the hotel, but right out front you'll find a surf spot. Even if you don't surf, watching the surfers battle the waves is oddly entertaining and a great way to spend time doing nothing (in the best way). The hotel offers a shuttle to a lovely sandy beach, which is a nice touch. Just a heads-up: the waves can be pretty intense, so swimming is mostly for the brave, the confident, or the slightly reckless. Last but definitely not least - the staff. Seriously amazing. Everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind."
