Isla Chichime Tours and Activities

I really enjoyed my stay at Casco Viejo. I recommend purchasing the breakfast plan. The food was great. I enjoyed the area for walking. Not too far from Panama City.

Don´t get me wrong I would definitely go back to the Hotel but just want to point out that the best years of it are now gone…. I stayed at this Hotel during its inauguration week many years ago and I last visited the place few weeks before the pandemic in 2020 and during the time Hard Rock Café operated the hotel it was a very nice place, with some glamour and very well kept. Now as Megapolis it is still nice but you can see little details that makes one missing its best years. Usually when a new brand takes over a hotel they invest in getting a fresh new image, new furniture, but not in this case, you can see now a mix of the old rock imaginary displayed now next to historical Panamanian items, Billy Idol next to Mano de Piedra Duran or some folkloric dress. While I was there half of the elevators stopped working on a very busy Saturday night and one had to fight for a space to go up to your room. The Rooftop one of its main attractions was closed. I stayed in a Premium suite and both TV sets stop working…. The place has a very good location but it needs some maintenance.
