The hosts were amazing and really give you free rein to enjoy the beautiful grounds—the location is unbelievable, yet it’s only about a 15-minute walk into the center of Bayeux. "I had seen reviews that the rooms were small. Ours was a nice size and very comfortable. The staff was great, especially the young man at check-in. He was welcoming and helpful with getting around town and finding places to eat. The hotel is close to the cathedral which is a must to see! They do use an old fashioned room key so be sure and lock your room door once inside with the key. Breakfast was really good. It is a quant hotel that we enjoyed and very close, within easy walking to most things. The railroad station is about 12 minutes and a little uphill toward the end, or longer with heavy suitcases. We would stay again."
