"We arrived a bit late due to traffic in Dublin and a delayed flight but had everything to check in sent before by John, the owner. After arrival we found a perfectly cleaned and very well furnished house which exceeded all out wishes. There was more than enough space for the four of us and out two children (2 and 6 yrs old) where excited to find Christmas plates in the kitchen The kitchen equipment is perfect for a stay - even an airfryer is there, next to a toaster, microwave, etc. - and John...

"The cottage is a cozy Irish atmosphere with nice amenities. Just ten minutes to the center of Boyle. It heated up quickly and the shower was hot and strong. Working fireplace for cozy nights and washing machine with indoor dry rack came in handy. Irene was very responsive and left a nice basket of treats for us. I loved the O'Donnell crisps and am looking to order some on line. If we return to the area we hope to stay there again. Thank you Irene!"

"A fantastic place to stay. My elderly parents required an ensuite and this fitted the bill perfectly. Fresh flowers greeted us on the fining table. Great selection of leaflets showing you things to do in the west coast of Ireland. Would highly reccomend a visit to Parkes Castle followed by a boat ride on Lough Gill stopping at Dooley Park https://roseofinnisfree.com/ . "We stayed as a family with two children for one week in July 2025 in this cottage.Good:It’s a spacious cottage set in a well-kept, large garden with a clothesline. The location is great for exploring the coast, Sligo, and the Ox Mountains, and it’s very quiet.There are four bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a kitchen with a washing machine. "Clean room, friendly staff. A bit outside of town so that we needed to drive to a pub. But it was fun staying in a castle. I would have liked to have some info in the room about the history of the building. Maybe it was in the room and I missed it?"
