Only worth it if you're a party crowd.

Pros: -good location (halfway between the beach and the main town) -great view (from the shared balcony) -owner is nice and helpful Cons: -No frills motel. I think it is worth paying an extra $20-30 per night for a better equipped hotel. -old and kinda run-down interior, lights seemed like they might electrocute me when turning them on. Pretty dark and gloomy in the room. -the shower leaves much to be desired. -you get a single bed sheet (no cover or comforter). -while the location is pretty good, be prepared for a very steep climb to and from the beach! -loud party people who will keep you up until 5-6am in the morning (once again, only good if you're a hard core partier).

Almost enjoyable

Great view, room needs a little TLC shower screen didn’t fit so water went everywhere. Owners are lovely and trying to do well, but told us we could get breakfast across the road and use the pool, we were met with lady telling us sternly that we had to pay 5 euros each for the use of the pool, it did include a drink tho and breakfast was 9 euros each so we didn’t bother with either. The stay was ok, maybe we were a bit early in the season. Meals were a available across the road but we chose to walk about 15 mins into Chora.

Lovely hotel close to the beach

Lovely and quiet hotel close to both the beach and the chora. The room was very comfortable and clean, nicely located on a teraace with a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel is really close to the main beach Mylophotas (8 minutes walking) and the chora (10 minutes walking), and there is also a bus stop only 1 minute walking from the property. There is also the possibility to have breakfast at the hotel right in front of Pelagos, which I absolutely recommend because there is a great variety of choice and it takes place on a terrace with a breathtaking view on the sea! Christopher, the host, and his family are lovely and they will make you feel the typical warm hospitality of the Greek people! They are very kind and available and helped with everything from the beginning to the end of the holiday. If I'll ever go back to Ios, I will surely choose Pelagos again!

Buona posizione e buon rapporto qualità prezzo

Albergo a conduzione famigliare situato a metà strada tra la Chora e la spiaggia di Mylopotas raggiungibili a piedi in 10/15 min. Il titolare è una persona squisita, gentile e disponibile che sicuramente fa la differenza. Ci ha consigliato e ci è venuto a prendere all’arrivo e ci ha riportato al porto senza alcun costo aggiuntivo. Camera con vista mare dotata di tutto ciò che serve (tv, frigorifero, cassaforte e aria condizionata), solo un po’ calda per via del sole che batteva tutto il giorno (indispensabile era il condizionatore) e per l’assenza di una porta finestra (c’era solo una finestra). Arredamento un po’ vecchiotto. Bagno piccolo con doccia con tenda, ma pulito (cambio asciugamani ogni gg) Al costo di 6 euro è possibile fare colazione con ricco buffet dolce e salato presso l’albero di fronte (il prezzo è buono visto che al bar un cappuccino costa 4 euro!) dotato di una splendida terrazza sul mare
