We had a really nice, short, getaway with our kids and dogs here. The house is old but has some modern updates. It was wonderful to wake up and see the cows grazing in the field behind the house. I think I spotted a raven in a nearby tree. There's an interesting collection of old books and we played some of the games as well. There were a couple bumps that are hopefully ironed out for future guests. One, we arrived at night and had some trouble finding the house because its not visible from the the road in the dark and there weren't any house numbers posted that we could see from the road. Two, we received multiple messages with instructions and there were two different passwords for the Wifi (one was capitalized and one wasn't). Neither of them worked.Third, the main couch in the TV room smelled like cat pee. We are cat lovers ourselves and are well acquainted with the smell, but it did make it more uncomfortable to hang out in the room. If that is resolved we would definitely stay here again!
