The location was 10/10, as we had amazing views of Loch Lomond and it was ideally placed, in the centre of the village, where everything is within short walking distance. "I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...

"Stayed there 1 night, Sept 30. The hotel is 250 years old. But is updated and lovely! Super charming, clean and comfy. Our room has 2 twin beds. It was a bit small but we didn’t plan to stay in it long. There were cookies and tea in the rooms Loved the nightlight in the bathroom! Very helpful. Only challenges are the parking, It’s at a premium, and all rooms are up stairs so if you have mobility challenges. This hotel is not for you"
