Pretty disappointed overall with my stay. Had there been other options when booking last minute I wouldn't have booked. The room had long black hairs all over the floor and bed when I arrived. The sheet was very thin with dirt on it. Issues that had to be fixed like the window getting stuck and the shower tap being stuck on scalding hot. The fire doors whilst adding security, slam loudly at all hours of the night and the window had to be open at all times since the heating was high. The young guy at reception was very nice and tried to fix what he could but clearly run off his feet with a lot to cover. Recommend that management higher better cleaners and set prices at a lower level to match the hostel like conditions.

its fair to say we won't be staying again. Points to take away from this experience. students running around shouting in the early hours of the morning doesn't help when you have a hard day ahead of you. sharing a kitchen with the students. If you decide to rent out rooms you have to have the option for a tv surely? nope not here!! The advert on expedia is misleading and doesn't give you the true picture of what it would be like for someone staying.

Not ideal for warm summer nights
Clean, comfortable but basic accommodation, value for money. Only real complaint is that no provision is made for warmer weather. Being a new build i'm sure it is well insulated for cold weather, but no means of cooling in warm weather has been provided. I'm not expecting air con but 28C is not a comfortable temperature for sleeping! It wasn't a heatwave the night I stayed and I can't imagine staying here if it was!

After finding the place we were shown to a room, it was basic to say the least, it was a bed for the night, no more no less, £75 was cheeky, in my opinion it was £40 at most

We arrived after a few wrong turns my sat nav stopped as soon as we came off the A9. not a big deal . We were welcomed and taken to our Studio room which was spotless and had everything from cooking to showering that we needed very satisfied.

This place needs to provide a better description of where to check in. Dorm rooms on a college campus. Not much nearby for food, etc, so eat before you arrive or bring your own. Taxi driver at train station knew how to get there, but not exactly where to drop us off. The check in building is not where you stay. We had to walk around in the dark a while before we found it, and no one around to ask. Building 7! Needs a big sign! Other than that, it’s an ok, inexpensive place to crash for an early morning flight. Taxi to airport was 20 pounds. You get a key card for several entrance doors. Each unit has its own bathroom, with about 7 units per “flat”, and a full kitchen. Beds not the greatest, could feel the springs. Towels provided, but no toiletries, so need your own, even soap. Not much noise from students and no bed bugs like other reviews mentioned. Simple, no frills, very clean place.

Yikes!
When we arrived to the area we couldn't find the reception as the college has a building labelled reception and signs directing you too it, but it is not a part of the accommodation. There were several other people looking for it as well. We tried calling for help with no answer. When we informed the front desk the admitted they knew about the problem but had done nothing to fix it. The guy checking us in was nice, but clearly overwhelmed. The room was fairly clean but small. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable with springs poking you all night. It was definitely not a bed for two people as advertised. And, the pillows were thin and clearly old. The kitchen hard overflowing garbage, no recycling and no dish soap. When we asked the front desk about this they said they didn't know who took out the garbage handed us a large black garbage bag and informed us soap was not provided for the dishes. One last note; there is not enough parking for all of the guests and it's very unclear as to where you can and cannot park outside of the parking lots directly outside your building. I understand it's a cheap accommodation, but this is beyond unacceptable.

Bed had the springs coming through the mattress, it is the student accommodation and the noise was horrendous, also the staff need to look at the bin areas outside the accommodation as it's borderline for rats, add to that the mountain of cigarette ends outside Grouse and Osprey, it's pretty shabby. It is as I say the student accommodation, but it's not particularly cheap to stay at, I've been using it since it opened and it's gradually declining. The rooms are actually great, but the beds are torturous, cheap thinly padded mattresses that are now well past their sell by date. Cleaning wise, I stay typically for 5 days, and you get one service of the room and towel exchange during that time. Just don't stay thinking you are going to get an unbroken nights sleep, doors slam loudly, laminate flooring everywhere and the walls are paper thin. But, you get what you pay for, that does not excuse the lack of exterior cleaning, and the quality (or lack of it) of the mattress.

Really like the simplicity of the setup,it suits my needs as a work venue. My only complaint would be the temperature of the room. In the days of energy conservation why are the rooms so hot? Mine was 24 degrees!

The staff were friendly and the place looks fine. Had to tell the next room to shut up at 3am, the subfloors squeak and the vinyl floor covering means the corridors are noisy. On the ground floor, the external lighting kept the room light even with the blind down. Finally, given the cost of the room, there should be tea bags and coffee available

Clean, comfortable.
Ideal for solo short stay trip. Student accommodation rented out for summer. They are newly built so are warm and comfortable. Rooms are small, but have en-suite. Bring your own soap. No kettle or tv in the room, but there is free internet which is fantastic. There is a kitchen available for use, I didn’t use, but good to have it available.

Great place to stay, but you need to be aware this is a Student accommodation block. New, well appointed and convenient, but it’s not a hotel. A great base for getting out into the country, just off the A9. The staff were brilliant and really welcoming to everyone.

Room and apartment were clean and staff in reception were very friendly and helpful. Did not enjoy the fire alarm being set off by burnt toast at 12am as my partner is in crutches and was not a great experience trying to get him down the stairs. The accommodation itself is very difficult to find at first as not easily signposted.

This is not a hotel.
Lovely , peaceful. Safe , secure, Very clean. This is NOT a hotel but rather a student halls of residence with no thrills but is a clean safe room in a spotless block with a great ensuite bathroom, no tv and a comfy bed with kitchen facilities up the hall. Just what we wanted, needed and expected.Met at the door upon arriving and leaving. Very nice staff.

Perfect for a couple of nights. Had a little trouble finding it, definitely need some signs. But with help from a friendly security guard I found the correct building and the guy that checked me in was very friendly. Room looked very clean apart from a couple of stray dark hairs on the top of the duvet. Will definitely stay again.

Got off the bus at the University stop, saw the main building, and asked several students where the dorms were. They actually misdirected us toward the main building, you should head LEFT toward the farthest building, about 1/2 mile. Check in was effortless, and we found our own room small but clean. We stayed at one in Dublin, Binary Hub, which was similar. After unpacking, my wife jumped into the shower, and the shower pan filled with water, blocked drain. The front desk Josh was helpful, but had no plunger, or anything to help. He changed our room immediately. These things happen, but a tool would have prevented packing and moving.After 3 nights the sheets and towels were supposed to be changed. We saw the cleaning person on our way out, he checked our room key and assured us they would be changed, We returned after 8PM, and nothing had been touched. Front desk was unable to do anything.Next day we checked out. I messaged the management about a refund, and have heard nothing. The kitchen and TV room were good, we like to have big salads at night to balance the restaurant food eaten while out. I can recommend these type of accomodations for people who like to walk, prepare some of their own meals, and don't need luxury digs.Internet was good also.

Return to University. Hotel or hostel?
Almost new University Accommodation so you are given a study bedroom with a three quarter sized bed. Bathroom new, shower has limited force. I was there six nights and the towels were changed once, the bedding not at all. No soap is provided. When I asked thinking they had omitted to put any out I was told this was hostel accommodation so I could not expect toiletries. Yet it is being marketed as a hotel on the sites at the same price as Bed and Breakfasts.On the last day a snagging gang came to correct snags with the new build. Appropriate for a hotel in use? Coffee or tea was provided every five days for all guests in the communal kitchen where there was a TV. I enjoyed my stay and the facilities but they need to make clear about the need to bring your own soap and toiletries. Good location.
