"Unbelievable setting on coast. Small cabin looks out over a small lake and Gulf of St. Lawrence beyond. The cabin is brand new and well equipped. There is a short path to private beach! Just amazing peace and quiet."

"This place is so cute! Our room was in the same block as the office and looked out over the bay. Everything was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Big TV with all the channels. I'm seeing other reviewers comment on a smell; we didn't notice anything like that. Great place to stay as you make your way around Cape Bretton. "

"Whole house was clean and comfortable. The three beds were very comfortable and each had their own room and each room had it's own temp control. The kitchen was great..we were able to prepare our own meals. Proximity to Cabot was super convenient. The docks are close by....where you can go meet the boats and buy lobster super cheap."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property.The cottages are clean and cozy, and contain everything one would need for cooking. The beds are comfortable, the view is lovely, and, the beach is easily accessed from the cottages. What made our stay *extra* special, however, was the warmth, wit, and, hospitality of our lovely host. First, he gave us a courtesy call to provide specific directions to the property, then, called us again to let us know about an event happening nearby at the time of our stay, in case we wanted to attend. He is a lovely human being, who seems to genuinely enjoy people. We were very proud to share the beauty of Nova Scotia with our California friends, especially the beauty of the human landscape (-thank you, Colin!). During our stay, the weather was chilly, overcast, rainy, and foggy, but, the warmth of this property’s owner, and the simple, yet, charming accommodations he offers, will bring us back again.- next time, for a longer, sunnier, summer stay."

"Everything about our stay was incredible. The home worked perfect for our family and inlaws. No one wanted to leave after our 5 night stay. The home was beautifully decorated and we head everything we needed and more. Mike was a great host and very accommodating which we greatly appreciated traveling across the country and visiting Cape Breton for the first time. We will be back and look forward to staying in this home again."
