Fabulous, cozy stay! Very hospitable and wonderful staff. Only issue was there was no lift, but that was our fault for not checking before booking. Would highly recommend staying here for a quiet, relaxing time.

Great Hotel, Service and Food
My wife, daughter and I recently stayed at the Inverkip Hotel for a short 3 night break and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and very friendly and the food was great. Danny deserves a special mention as he was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Thoroughly recommended.

Hidden Gem
Lovely old hotel, tastefully renovated, in the centre of the village but unseen from the A78 that runs past Inverkip. We stayed in room 5, an attic room at the top of the hotel, so up a couple of flights of stairs. Not really suitable if you have mobility issues, but we were accompanied by the manager who I imagine would have helped if we had heavy bags. The room was a good size and despite a sloping roof, very comfortable. There were tea/coffee facilities in the room, but additionally a couple of teacakes! A nice touch was a fresh rose. We were also offered milk and a bottle of water for the room. There was no noise to disturb our sleep; our room was the only one on that floor so that may have been a major factor. When we were parking in the hotel car park, I received a call from the hotel, asking if we were definitely going to use our booking. It turned out someone else had booked almost simultaneously with us via another website. The hotel staff were going to try and find a room elsewhere for the other person who had booked fractionally later than us. We thought that excellent customer service. The bar and restaurant were busy and it looked as though all the restaurant tables were taken so although we didn’t eat there, it would seem the restaurant is fairly popular. The full Scottish breakfast was delicious. We were stranded in the area by CalMac, so though our stay proved enjoyable, it was unplanned. Based on our experience, I’d definitely recommend the hotel.

Fabulous place to stay
Everything was perfect, the staff super friendly, the food absolutely delicious, a very large and comfortable room. the perfect spot to wind down and relax after a long day on the road. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the area.

The Staff were very friendly and attentive, and took very good care of us, The property itself was clean and cosy and we had a lovely restfull stay after a busy day out. I would certainly recommend.

On arrival, we were greeted by very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We continued to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble throughout our visit. Whilst the hotel bedrooms are slightly dated in appearance, it was perfectly clean and I particularly liked that we were offered still water and fresh milk to take to our room. The restaurant and bar was excellent, very organised and food and drinks were fantastic.

A really great place to stay
Lovely welcome from the staff and coping well with the Covid requirements. Room was stripped of non-essentials for better cleaning and was a little bare, but understandable. No tea-coffee tray in room but complimentary hot drinks from bar were provided. Breakfast at pre-selected menu and time slot picked the night before. Would happily come back, good tasty breakfast and lovely staff

One of the finest small hotels we have ever stayed in. The facilities are fine but what really makes the place special are the staff and the attention to detail to those things that elevate the entire experience. The food at the hotel is high quality bistro and the breakfasts are outstanding. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Family short break
Had a lovely break at Inverkip Hotel. We were met with a warm welcome and shown to our room by a pleasant member of staff. The hotel had noted a blown lightbulb prior to our arrival and this was replaced promptly. It was also such a warm day that we were provided with a large fan for the room for our entire stay, without us asking. It was a lovely touch to have bottled water and Tunnock's Teacakes for us all in the room and these were replaced daily. Breakfast was homely and casual with daily newspapers available. A small cold breakfast of cereals/fruit/yoghurts and juices was self services while the menu offered you a choice hot dishes, all locally sourced Scottish produce. Our Son was even provided with colouring sheets and pencils to entertain him, allowing us to relax. We dined in the restaurant a couple of nights, the menu offered an excellent choice of dishes, many available as small or large portions and a children's menu was available too. Throughout our stay, we were made to feel very welcome, by all members of staff. We will be recommending to friends visiting the area and will return again if we are in the area.

We had a warm welcome when we arrived. Great customer relations. There are also many little touches in the room that make a huge difference to the experience. We love the food on the restaurant; it's the reason we booked to stay. Fantastic little place. We'd recommend a visit here to anyone that is passing this way.

Postcode takes you to the door. Car park avalible around back. Busy local pub, pleasant staff. I was room 5 at the very top of the property, old creaky floors, old building so not very well kept this part of the building. At this stage I was wondering if I had made a mistake ? Looked shabby. Room , very spacious. Window seat will lovely views, nearly see the marina. Tea / coffee. Shower no bath. Bed average, comfortable but I could see well used. Needs new mattress. Bed throws made it warm on a night. Power shower good speed and warmth. Nice food reasonably priced. Staff very nice. Walked to local marina within 4 min. And beach

A perfect experience, I will be back.
It was amazing. It started with a lovely welcome, my case carried to my room and all the facilities shown to me. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. I was given a dinner table in a quieter area (the hotel was very busy on a Saturday night) and a choice from an impressive menu featuring locally sourced produce. Breakfast was equally good, the choice included fruit juice, cereal and full Ayrshire breakfast, or lighter options such as scrambled egg with smoked salmon. Delicious! This is a place where all of the staff go the extra mile to make guests comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Stayed for 1 night . family run hotel so very pleasant and helpful check in . Room was great - tv/tea tray etc. bathroom was good size - clean and plenty of towels Breakfast was excellent - selection of juices, cereals ,yogurts excellent fruit salad on offer Great choice of cooked options which were "mixed and matched" a bit for us with no hassle . Would stay again.

The check-in was pretty easy, the personnel kind and friendly. The dinner served was just perfect. The room itself was very comfortable and cosy. And the bed was excellent. I have not slept so good in ages and it is a long time since I woke up so fresh and energized. Morning shower and delightful breakfast were just the best way of how to finish my one night stay. A smiling personnel is a good think, but in this case it was genuine, no mask or something, a simple and warm smile. I wish I have had more time to spent here and I will definitely prioritize this hotel next time I have a meeting in Glasgow. Thanks a million to the personnel for such a lovely experience.
