"While the staff at this hotel was very nice, the room itself was not clean. Time constraints with our travel plans did not afford a lot of time to discuss with staff and so unfortunately, we could not approach someone. Upon entering the room (#201), there was a very bad odor coming from the door (as we entered). We thought it might have changed with the a/c turned down, up, etc..Nothing helped dissipate the smell. It was terrible and made for a very unpleasant visit. Our bathroom floor was not clean and even though we were able to live with that, we feel it necessary to bring up. The main issue was the overall smell."

"We have stayed at this property a few years ago so we knew that this was an older hotel but it has definitely went down hill. They are building a brand new hotel right next door so I think they are doing the bare minimum maintenance and upkeep to the original hotel. Housekeeping consisted of taking your used towels and giving you new towels and that was it. Trash was never taken out. I will say the king size bed was very comfortable. There are no coffee pots in the rooms so if you are an early riser just know that coffee in the office does not open till 7am. I will give the Waterfront Social restaurant a 10/10. Great food and service. The workers in the marina shop were also very nice and helpful. Overall we love this area but will probably not book this hotel again until they get the new one built. Not worth the price tag at this point."

"The lights were only half working. Couldn't close the bathroom door and we had no Air condition All night long. And we're still charged full priced for our room offered or given no discount and they knew that we had to sleep in those conditions, extremely hot and extremely uncomfortable. We booked two rooms. Both were extremely unbearably hot with the A.C being out."
