The Space:
Tremorne Stay is a fantastic place to base yourself while you explore Taranaki. WINNER OF THE TRAVELLER REVIEW AWARD 2025! This wonderful fully self-contained one-bedroom facility is located on an established Welsh Pony stud, surrounded by gardens and lawns. Built in 2021, it is the perfect couples retreat for peace and tranquillity.

The property is situated only 2 km drive to Inglewood, 20 km to New Plymouth, and 20 km to Stratford. Inglewood hosts the famous street party on Thursday during Americana in February. The district is a base for many gardens in the Fringe Garden Festival in October each year. Walk to an award-winning café and the National Fun Ho! Toy Museum. Drive to Mt Taranaki for walking trails and stunning scenery, and the John Deere Tractor Museum is just 3.4 km south.

Perfect get away for two

Modern, Clean, Well equipped One Bedroom Unit set on lovely quiet rural grounds. We found the owners of the property very accommodating to our needs and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Host and Perfect Location

We can’t say enough good things about our stay. The apartment was immaculate and very well outfitted with everything we needed. The farm location meant quiet, peaceful and relaxing evenings. Mel was a superb host who provided great information and support suggestions with regard to what to see, do and where to eat. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The host Mel and Zonda were friendly and responsive even gave us a quick tour around the farm. The Mt Taranaki was a perfect picture while the peonies makes a nice compliment. The unit is very clean and new, with full toilet amenities and good water pressure.Meanwhile the kitchen was fully equipped with oven and stove. You really feel like home. Would recommend and stay if we passed through in the future
