Stayed at the Alexander to attend an Indiana Fever game. Excellent location downtown near Gainbridge Fieldhouse and a number of shops and restaurants. Hotel has cool art installations. The room was modern and comfortable. Staff very friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Good - Beautiful common areas, staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious at Plat 99. Bad - We paid for an upgraded room, but it felt like we were staying at a Motel 8. The desk chair was worn out, makeup mirror had a crack down the middle, ugly yellow paint. Room felt old and used up. I know they are getting ready to begin renovations, but they should discount the terrible rooms until they are completed.

Staff is great, art is beautiful, bar is marvelous, the room was very disappointing for a 350-400 dollar room. The chair had wear and tear, shower was grimey on the floor and there were many knicks and dents all over the room.
