"I was looking for a long weekend getaway and came across this listing. I opted for this log cabin over the glamping experience because it was in a quiet area, near a body of water and offered all the commodities that my husband was looking for. Really, I couldn’t have asked for anything better. We only had to bring food, because everything else was readily available. You had the outdoors (fire pit, grill, forest, lake) and the indoors (AC, TV, WiFi). The added perks were the foosball, ping pong table and the jukebox. We enjoyed great music.Gary is a great host. I am so happy with my experience, I can’t wait to plan for the next visit to this cabin. My kids didn’t want to leave!"

"Great stay and a very quiet and relaxed upscale property. Staff knew who we were before we arrived and were ready a willing to assist to ensure any specific wants or needs were met. The surrounding forest and lake were large and completely open for exploring. Rooms are huge and incredibly well appointed. Food is 5 star for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "

"My husband and I truly enjoyed our recent visit to Driftwood Ranch. The owners, Anne and Steve and their team created a warm and welcoming experience that will always remain in our hearts and minds. The accommodations were spectacular and there were so many well-planned and elegant touches. Our welcome by the hostess was warm and friendly and it was great treat to have a beautifully prepared charcuterie board and fine red wine. We arrived late on Friday and so it was such a surprise to go on the deck in the morning and see a heard of long-horned steer looking at us curiously. Not a typical Saturday morning scene! From that point on, the weekend was magical as we engaged with some of the nicest, warmest and most interesting individuals- the hosts and their friends. The hosts are truly visionary and to see how they have created and authentic western ranch experience with sophisticated accommodations and amenities is impressive. The property is breathtaking, and we enjoyed 2 days of ranch activities, beautiful fall walks, horseback riding and tasty meals. We most enjoyed our time with Steve and Ann and their friends-all whom have such interesting backgrounds and share a passion and joy for the 'ranch life' and horses and are so earnest in their intentions to share a special experience with their guests. We left with a deep admiration for the vision of Driftwood ranch that has been built and a fondness and friendship for all. we look forward to a return visit soon. "

The accommodations were spectacular. The cabins are beautiful. You feel like you’re in a log home in Montana."

"Overall we ended up having a good time. The property has multiple units on it within close range of each other which we weren’t away of until we got there. Luckily, all of the neighboring guests were super cool, we just didn’t expect that. Also, make sure to bring anything you may need. We were only provided 2 shower towels but not much else. There is some pans for cooking and a coffee maker, but the unit is limited. There’s also a smell from the pilot light on the stove which is aggressive if your sensitive to smells. Overall, we enjoyed our time and the property owners were very nice and helpful, and gave privacy."
