This house is exactly as advertised ! Great space with everything we needed. Secluded yet close to area attractions. We would definitely stay here again
Adorable cottage overlooking a beautiful stream. Clean with a well-stocked kitchen. A quiet place to relax. Will definitely book again for a longer stay.
This house was very well equipped with everything we needed. Very clean, very private, and very cool piece of property. Also a short drive to a number of parks and hiking trails. Would definitely stay here again.
Very quiet and comfortable. We took our daughter from the city to Independence to see a meteor shower-no light pollution. Perfect spot! Great communication with the host.
Great access road hard packed gravel (smoother than most paved roads) no issues getting a motorcycle to the cabin. Very spacious, plenty of parking, calm and peaceful. Great place to a home have to enjoy the surrounding area and spend time with family and friends. Property manager was great! Will definitely be returning to stay here again.
We went for a 3 day weekend to run a trail race in Grayson Highlands state park. The house was a 30 minute drive from the park. Beautiful drive to the house and the park. We enjoyed resting at the house before and after our time at the park. The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was lovely and we enjoyed walking the property and sitting outside reading.
We stayed here to be close to Grayson Highlands State Park and New River to go see the wild ponies and go birding. There were many birds on the property including hummingbirds. Thank you for having the feeder up! We also saw a baby bunny under the shrubs, baby deer, chipmunk, and groundhog on the gravel entrance road. The property was all as described. The only sounds were the birdsong and the creek. :)
