This property had a very strong smell of smoke the moment you open the door. It was too much for our family. Unless you can stand a very strong smell of smoke, I would avoid this property.

Very bad odor of pet feces and smoke
Our stay was very uncomfortable due to the strong smell of pet feces around the master bedroom area. There were baking soda boxes stashed in the closets so the owners were obviously aware. The smell was so strong I was convinced there was poop on the floor somewhere. Property also smells strongly of cigarette smoke. I would not recommend this property.

When we arrived and entered the Condo there was a overwhelming aroma of cigarette smoke and air freshener in the air. After about 30- 40 mins of arriving we had a knock on the door and it was a maintenance worker interrupting our peace to replace the hand held shower head in the bathroom shower. Then my daughter brought me the door handle off of the bedroom door that fell off in her hand. We then found that they didn't change out the hand towel in the upstairs bathroom, trash left behind under the chair in living room. The following morning when making coffee we found coffee left behind in the pot. There are soft spots in the floor, gas left on for BBQ, screen door not functioning well, dirty screen in kitchen about to fall out of the window, beds are firm if you like that sleeping on a backpacking pad kind of feeling. There is some petty stuff in there but bottom line it's a warn out condo built in the 60's that has had some minor, not so well executed updates(you have to crouch down to see yourself in the mirror).
This is a nice condo, nicely decorated and updated. The fans were blowing full force when we came in to offset the smoke smell which was just barely noticeable from next door. There was a window fan that had been built in to the window next to the sliding doors. This was not there in Picture #3. There were no instructions to the fan. I have seen these before but did not know it was a fan plus a heater and a two way fan. I asked owner how you keep the cold out since it was a fan and an open screened area. I never received a response. The microwave in the kitchen on the wall had one half of the handle to open door broken. It was loose and unscrewed. Only the top half of the handle was connected to the door. There was a smaller microwave on the counter. I advised about the broken door of the microwave and had no response. I sent pictures. To get to the condo you had to go down 11 wooden steps and to leave the condo you had to go up 11 steps. It was a little much for an old lady to carry her bags but this is common in Mountain Shadows (last year had to go up a combination of steps and walkways to get to the front door which was up very high from the parking area) and if I stay at this complex again will be sure and ask how difficult it is to get to the front door. But the condo was very nice, the TV had cable and streaming which was great, however, never received response from owner to my questions so if you have something broken do not know if it will be fixed.
