The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead.
The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. Amazing place to stay and view the aurora. Breakfast was exceptional! Our upgraded cottage was quite expensive but we enjoyed watching the northern lights from the heated windows. We just wish there was a sliding glass door in the shower to avoid getting the toilet seat and whole toilet floor wet.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Korpikartano. The room and bathrooms were both pretty small but you have to take into account the building’s history as it used to be a boarding school. One thing I will say is the activities and meals were pretty over priced m. 29 Euro per person for dinner each night was a bit ridiculous considering what it was. We stayed 1 night in an Aurora cabin during January. Unfortunatly we did not see the Northern Lights, as the weather was too cloudy, but we still enjoyed our glass roof cabin experience.
The Aurora Cabins were very modern inside, and the glass roof was heated, for clear viewing of the sky. These cabins are facing the North, to maximise your chances of seeing the lights.
The Star Artic Hotel resort is located on the top of a big hill, which offers really good views over Sarriselkä and Inari....

Had a great stay in the apartment. There is a washing mashine and drying cabinet. There is also a full kitchen in the apartment.
The only thing that was a minor issue is that the apartments are a 10 - 15 minute walk to the main street and the grocery store.
As you are not staying in the actual Holiday Club hotel you will have to pay to use the hotel pool and visit the Angry Birds activity park.
We would use the apartments again as they were comfortable and well maintained.
