"We would not recommend this house at all. It’s actually two separate areas and not connected. When we first arrived we went into front apartment and discovered where was no AC in living area /kitchen and was so hot at 9pm when we arrived we could not sit in there. There were no instructions at house, so we wrote the owner on how to turn on the jacuzzi outside but that was when he told us it didn’t heat. "Excellent property with one bedroom and bathroom in an annexe. More than enough balcony and solarium areas. The pool was larger than expected. Overall a lovely property. The only improvements would be baking trays or ceramic dishes for cooking and the bathrooms need updating, especially the main bathroom as it’s door does not open/close properly and is a risk with children. "The villa is part of a small collection of villas and bungalows in a quiet location, with a nice pool. There is a village nearby with shops and tavernas. The property manager, Effie, was responsive and helpful. When we arrived we found there was an issue with the villa that we had booked, which Effie resolved quickly by upgrading us. The property was generally clean but some maintenance is required."

"The property was well built and everything worked as it should. The poolside garden was well maintained with mature shrubs and trees which meant there was always areas of shade to be found which was very handy with little children. The shutters made it very easy to keep the house cool. The property was in a residential area and was very peaceful at night. We’ve been coming to Crete every year for the last twenty years and the villa was definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in. "

"The reviews don’t lie, great property and friendly hospitable staff. Especially loved the peace and quiet and being able to relax with a glass of wine on the balcony while listening to the sound of the sea and enjoying its breeze. Small boutique hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of old town with a private beach. Great restaurants within walking distance Prima Plora and their own Thalassa Seafood restaurant. My room was comfortable, but the bedroom area was a little warm. I’m sure they would’ve adjusted the temperatures if I had asked. As a female traveling alone I felt safe. Will be back! "
