Astoria Riverwalk Inn

8/10 Good

"The property makes most of Astoria walkable and there is easy parking. The hotel has some age, is worn in places, but comfortable and kept as clean as possible. I would stay there again. For the cost compared to the other places, you can’t beat the location. The bed was comfortable."

"Staff very courteous and friendly. Cookies at 6pm was a nice treat. Breakfast was a nice plus, but hot foods not restocked quickly(ran out of scrambled eggs right before I had the chance to get any(@7:20am). Sat down and finished my breakfast which included toasting a muffin(about 10 mins). Left the dining area with no scrambled eggs being replaced. (Make smaller batches?) Maintenance could use a bit of work. Toilet in my room was terrible at flushing, and bathroom fan as noisy and vibrated a lot. Overall though, one of the nicest Hotels I've stayed at in Seaside. Would stay there again."

"There is no hypoallergenic bedding and my eyes swelled up trying to sleep, barely got any sleep, the heater was like a heatbox and made the room hotter than the thermostat, the oven in the kitchen area smoked very easily and set the fire alarm off, id say the refrigerator, bathroom were the only 10/10 of ratings i could give this place. If you need hypoallergenic bedding this is not your place to be."

"We slept fine. It’s just the cleaning needed more attention to detail and our screen door was broken. The other units had screen doors. Ours was just left in a pile like one of the kind with Velcro on the porch. The bikes could’ve been a little better maintained, but it was fun to ride a bike there so that was nice, but the breakfast was the best thing, that was really good. I just don’t think anybody knows how to clean anymore and there’s certainly isn’t anybody who checks up on him."
