There is a shuttle to pick me up from the harbour. I have to drag my luggagges to my room which is down by the sea side. For breakfast, I had to climb a steep staircase leading to the hotel. Water pressure is strong. WiFi is good. Hotel is near Akiki mini market. Brugseni & Pisifik supermarket is a walking distance. Cafe Iluliaq & other restaurant are nearby.

Good facilities, good shower (this is very important!), my room got a very nice ocean view, highly recommend their restaurant, the catch of the day was superb! Breakfast was good too! Staff were friendly and helpful, absolutely 5 stars!!!

Helpful staff , reliable transport, path is gravel

The room I got offered me an incredible view of the bay and icebergs that are different each day I woke up. The staff are helpful and shuttle are reliable. The only downside is that my room/ apartment is situated not on the same building but down and closer to the bay that I have to work hard to carry my lugggage using the stairs while the path going down to my room is gravel so either you carry your check in luggage or by rolling it through the gravel.

People working there are very friendly, helpful and professional. Property itself is very central, it is very convenient. Washrooms /bathrooms are nicely equipped and renovated. Hotel arranges a shuttle bus services to/from the airport. Restaurant is serving very nice buffet breakfasts with a good quality and variety of food. Same for dining options. Highlight for restaurant is their ones/twice a week dinner event - Greenlandic buffet with about 20 different specialties from the Greenlandic gastronomy presented.

We are very happy with our stay in Hotel Hvide Falk. The hotel is in a very convenient location for activities. It is right next to Albatros Arctic Circle which provides lots of tours in the area. It is also 10 mins walk to yellow trail trailhead. Our room is facing the ocean and we enjoyed to see the view and whales in the bay. The hotel restaurant is top notch. Very well prepared food with appropriate potion. Front desk was very helpful with questions and calling taxis. There is also a grocery store in a few minutes walk distance.

Nice cozy hotel with superb views from the shared balcony that surrounds it. Nice attentive staff except for a waitress at their restaurant who asked me to leave as I was not welcome as I had an open half bottle of white wine which had perhaps 2 inches ofwine left in it - house regulations, she said. I insisted there was very little wine left in the bottle and showed it to her, but she insisted I should leave or throw the bottle away, which was what I did, then came back to the table and this time she told me I was not welcome there as I was behaving badly! Of course I left in disgust.

Excellent hotel

This beautiful hotel has one of the best views in the city, overlooking Disko Bay. The hotel is currently under renovation, but all of the work is done during the daytime hours, so there is no disturbances at night. The free breakfast buffet is delicious with a variety of great items. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable, with cattle facilities, so you can make your own coffee and tea, beautiful balcony overlooking the water, and all of the icebergs. This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during my time in Greenland.

Beautiful view from our room in one of the lower (downhill) units. Excellent restaurant with a great breakfast spread. Free transport to and from airport and storage of luggage before check in and after check out. Less than perfect in minor ways: Kitchen in room had very old stove but it worked. We missed the alert for late 3 hour water turn off one night which threw us temporarily. (Turns out the front desk had a sign that we all missed because we never had a need to go there.) All in all a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend.

Usually everything is too much asked at that hotel. Dont expect a lot of service. I was not allowed to eat something in the waiting area although the restaurant was closed and I had to go outside in the cold in front of the hotel to eat something.

NEED UPgraded Noget forbavset at se man byder mig og andre pa 2 sal (rooms fra 400-418) pa “old 70 stil” ikke vardig at betale HIGHT END price for such a …. Special Bathroom is a very bad condition and stuff like KETTLE is old fashion and not electric on the wall etc. Did I mention the “small” tv. The” only” selling point is the VIEW – absolute gorgeous – BUT NO private balcony to enjoy the view.. Ved check-in and before (sent several mails) ask for a QUIET room and was given room 410 (second floor no elevator). After 5 Nights when check-out I was told oh, we have renovated modern rooms on 1 Floor (room number from 300). So strange I didn’t got a chance to get a better room (updated and maybe more quiet) – Last 3 nights running kids made lots of noise and only first nights (after I mail to reception) somebody ask them to stop. I didn’t I book a room in a kindergarten!
