"We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed.. "

The location is very quiet and excellent for recharging the batteries and switching off from business. The sleep quality is also incredibly good. The bed is very comfortable and large. "We absolutely loved this house. It takes 20-25 mins to get to downtown Nice, but we loved hanging out by the pool and the wonderful views. If your looking for a nice peaceful place this is the one. The owners were awesome and you can tell they take pride in their house. We would take trips into town during the day to see the sights then hang out at night and swim."

"The house is spacious, the view fabulous, and the pool is lovely. It is however difficult to access the house because the roads are narrow and they are difficult to manoeuvre if you have a larger car. Further, we weren’t aware that we had to take care of two cats - our oldest daughter is allergic, but luckily she had her medication with her. If you want a quiet vacation away from everything, this is definitely a nice place to stay."

"Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant and comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and having a washer and dryer on-site was a fantastic convenience that made a big difference during our trip. The staff were excellent — friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Communication was generally okay, though there’s room for improvement in clarity and responsiveness. One small issue was with the location: the address on Google Maps led us to the back of the hotel, which was a bit confusing. A heads-up or clearer directions from the hotel would have helped avoid that. Parking on the street felt safe and accessible, which was a nice bonus. Overall, a very good experience and we’d definitely consider staying again."

"The desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked through Expedia, so the fact that the kitchen was only available if you stayed 3 nights did not come through. This was the end of our trip, and I was tired, so I didn't think to ask. They would have unlocked it for me if I had. Just a misunderstanding on my part. The lobby was really interesting. The hallway leading to the elevator to the rooms needs some attention. The vestibule flooring is a tripping hazard. Also, the hall lighting on the room floors needs to be motion activated. Having to find the light switch in the dark is not safe."
