"Absolutely wonderful stay from start to finish Staff so helpful & kind . The food was really good in the restaurant and a reasonable price. "We decided to stay in the slightly larger room which I’m pleased we did. Everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities good. The breakfast was excellent, can not fault a thing. "

"We stayed for one night in a twin room, there were floor to ceiling windows that gave a great view of the surrounding countryside. The room was very comfortable and spotless and the breakfast was wonderful. A thoughtful touch was being offered bottles of water and biscuits for our long journey home."

"Warm welcome received by host. Very friendly. Parking to rear of hotel bit of a squeeze as was busy but not a big issue. Room on top floor was quirky with comfortable bed and leather sofa. Quiet and spotlessly clean with a fridge whi h came in handy and even a microwave hidden away. Full breakfast was piping hot and plenty enough. The fruit plate was a little sparse to be fair but it was exactly what it says on the tin...a plate with fruit so no complaints. Great location in a quiet area but...

"The welcome was very friendly. We were shown to the room up 2 flights of stairs. Good sized room with double bed ensuite. Bed was so comfortable. Ensuite shower was electric which worked fine but not as much water pressure I like but that's a personal thing. Ironing board with iron came in handy on the day of the wedding. The food in the restaurant was delicious as was the Guinness!!"
