Diana Palace Hotel Zakynthos

"We stayed for a week towards the end of the October and had a Junior Suite with a private pool. The room itself was really nice, good size, great shower and clean. Unfortunately, the pool was a little smaller in person vs just looking from the pictures so wasn't used much (it often had flies, bugs & crickets in, which was also off-putting). The staff were all great, really helpful & friendly. Meal time staff were a joy to be around, you could tell they took pride in their jobs. There were two common area pools, which got quite busy, with people leaving towels down on sun-loungers to reserve them for the day. We stayed all-inclusive, but the drinks options weren't the best, alcohol options were limited and soft drinks had often ran out at meal times. Meal options were good, better than some 5* resorts I've stayed at, including a decent number of vegetarian options. The hotel is like a small resort, which has recently been renovated in most places. The area it's located is around a 10 minute drive from the airport, with plenty of convenience stores, souvenir shops and pubs close by. Zakynthos town is about a 15 min drive, or about a 40 minute walk, which is a lovely place to visit. I would recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing holiday away from the busier part of Zante. Family's would also benefit, as there's always entertainment for children put on by staff."

"Damiano extremely helpful and friendly. Showed us to our room and given a choice as to which room we prefer too. One issue we had is the room ( I suspect this will be common among the hotels here) is not that soundproof, could hear people talking ( very loudly too !! ) in the corridor, as well as from the street below. Nevertheless, it is recommended, if only for the staff!!"

"WE FOUND OUR ROOM CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. We had dinner at the garden restaurant and the food was excellent. Overall it was a very pleasant stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel."

"The staff at this hotel were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and extremely clean, with a nice balcony. The breakfast is amazing with lots of homemade cakes, jams, sauces and breads etc. The pool was nice and because it is a small boutique hotel, it was very peaceful. Loved it."
