This is typical small town hotel in Finland. Nothing fancy but not too bad either. Once they finish renovations in the summer 2023 it's definitely best hotel to stay in Iisalmi. Other options are strange hippy hotel and some really worn down places.

The room was not thoroughly cleaned when we arrived. The toilet had waste in it that was not flushed; there was hair on the shower floor and in the floor of the room; the rug was not vacuumed, as there were nail clippings on it; and the room was dusty, which could be seen on the tables and cups.

Iisalmi on mukavan pieni kaupuki. Hotelli Koljonvirta on keskeisellä paikalla - joka paikkaan on lyhyt matka. Sekä hotellista ja kaupungista jäi hyvät muistot.

Karaoken mölyä

Kaikki oli muuten ihan ok, mutta S-ryhmän kannattaisi ehkä harkita keskittyykö pyörittämään kiinteistössä hotellia vai karaokebaaria. Sisäpihan puoleisessa huoneessa oli muuten aivan hiljaista, mutta ennen puolta yötä (keskiviikkona) alkoi alakerran baarista kuulua jumalaton mylvintä. Huoneessa oli korvatulpat hotellin puolesta, mutta itseäni ainakaan ei kyllä huvita ne korvissa yrittää nukkua. Varsinkaan, kun häiriö aiheutuu nimenomaan ketjun omasta liiketoiminnasta.

Kesälomamatkalla

Voi kun saisitte ilmastoinnin hotelliin. Nämä kuumat kesät tuntuvat olevan nykyään paremmin sääntö kuin poikkeus. Tuuletin huoneeseen voisi olla alkuun hyvä. Muuten olimme tyytyväisiä vierailumme. Sängyt olivat super 😀
