A fully equipped seaside cabin on the shores of the Bothnian Bay near Lapland offers a peaceful escape from the rush of everyday life. The sea is right at your doorstep, allowing you to experience storms and beautiful sunsets from the comfort of your armchair. In winter, the frozen sea of the Bothnian Bay and the northern lights create an unforgettable atmosphere.
This two-building property is perfect for families and groups of friends. The minimalist interior features only genuine materials.
The main cottage has a spacious kitchen-living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The other part of the cottage has an additional room with beds for six people, making it an excellent place for one or two larger families or groups of friends. There is a covered hallway between these sections.
The cottage's large windows offer breathtaking views of the Bothnian Bay, where you can watch the sunsets and the diverse marine life. A separate outdoor sauna offers an exceptionally oxygen-rich sauna experience. Its wide window allows you to enjoy the sea view.
The cottage's bedroom has two 90 cm wide beds that can be placed together or separately. A baby cot is available free of charge upon request. The extra room has two fixed bunk beds and one fold-out bed. There can sleep six person. There is a drying cabinet in this room. You can use it to dry your clothes after winter activities.
There is a campfire site on the beach where you can spend time with family or friends and roast sausages or marshmallows.
In winter, the frozen sea offers opportunities for many activities, such as walking or skiing on the ice. The open sky shows the northern lights in all their beauty. Six kilometers away, there is an island with a freely accessible wilderness hut and a hut with a campfire site, offering the opportunity to stay in the heart of nature and enjoy the glow of the campfire in the evening twilight.
Please note that mainroad runs about 700 meters from the cottage. Although traffic noise may be heard from time to time, especially during easterly winds or calm frosty weather, it does not usually disturb the peace and quiet of nature. The cottage is not wheelchair accessible and has stairs. The yard is still a bit of a work in progress. We’ve just sown grass, but it hasn’t had time to grow yet. In winter you won’t notice it, of course.
From the cottage, you can easily take a day trip to Lapland. In Pauha, you can enjoy the sea life, but also experience the magic of Lapland without any hassle.
