Excellent stay

Excellent location near to tavernas, beach and bars. Welcome pack very generous. Host welcoming and allowed us to stay late on last day so big plus. Would definitely stay again.

Great place for summer holidays

We stayed in the White Houses for 9 days and we had amazing time overall. When we first arrived Nikos the manager of property gave us all the relevant information and we were surprised to discover that the apartment's fridge was full of different kinds of foods and a bottle of wine as welcoming gift. The appartment had incredible views over the port of Makrygialos and was comfortable for a couple. The rest of the days we were lucky that due to a double booking we were upgraded to the larger appartment with 4 bedrooms (meant for larger families) and superb decoration. It had a fully equiped kitchen and all the facilities necessary. The village of Makrygialos is the larger in the area and has all the amenities and children friendly beach. It also provides a good base to explore the whole Lassithi area and nearby beaches. Only comment is that the WiFi was not reliable and operational in all areas. Overall our stay has exceeded our expectations.

Wir wurden von Nikos herzlich willkommen geheißen und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Zur Begrüßung gab es außerdem Wasser, Wein, Milch, Käse, Brot, Obst, Kaffee und Kekse. Wir waren wirklich überrascht. Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft, so viel Platz und Freiraum, eine voll ausgestattete Küche. Die Einrichtung ist so, wie auf den Fotos abgebildet, alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Restaurants, Bars, Supermärkte alles in der Nähe. Der Ort ist klein und beschaulich, der kleine Hafen idyllisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Beautiful Apartment looking out over the harbour

We stayed in the "Harbor" Apartment which leads out onto the harbour, and is close to the beach and to the Tavernas. The Apartment was spotless and very convenient. We were well looked after by Nikos, and received a welcome pack of fruit, wine etc. Couls not have been happier with it, and we shall certainly be going again

A haven of tranquility

This quite frankly was the most stunning property we have ever stayed in in twelve years of visiting the Greek islands. Not only is the porperty perfectly appointed in the heart of the harbourside for spectacular breakfast views it is presented in the highest standard. The hosts have really thought about everything one would need for a relaxing beach holiday from the incredibly generous welcome pack to the well stock kitchen appliances. Sharp knives in an apartment - a first! Small thing but makes a difference. They even supplied beach towels and beach bags and umbrellas. In addition to this the hosts themselves were polite, unobtrusive and very helpful offering recommendations tailored to their individual guests needs. They seemed to have a knack of knowing exactly what we would need. A truly fa lupus experience.
