Stunning Fern Valley cabin with forest views & private hot tub - dog-friendly

  • Grab your friends and family and head to this beautiful Hidden Lodge. This home also has some history behind it. It was used as the filming location for the 1962 film Kid Galahad, starring Elvis Presley. The house still has many of the characteristics of the film. Drive a short two miles to the Idyllwild Village for an array of shops, restaurants, and nightlife. Humber Park is less than one and a half miles away if you are feeling adventurous. Experience breathtaking views as you hike through the wooded trails.

    There is plenty of room for everyone in this spacious, upgraded cabin on a cul-de-sac. Grab a cue stick and challenge others to a round of pool, or have a BBQ outdoors on the spacious patio with plenty of seating to relax in the mountain air. Whip up a favorite meal in the well-equipped kitchen and dine indoors or outdoors. Your private hot tub is outdoors and provides the perfect place to relax after a long day filled with activities and adventures. Additional comforts include central heat and air-conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.

    THINGS TO KNOW
    Parties will not be tolerated at this home. The neighbors are sensitive to noise, so please follow the county noise ordinance from 10 pm - 8 am. There is a noise-awareness system in the home.
    Riverside County regulations prohibit any 'party' lighting (outdoor luminaires shall not blink, flash, or rotate) and will hold guests liable for any 'light trespass' on surrounding properties.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful house. house is big enough for my children and grandchildren . A/C works perfectly, Kitchen has all that you need to cook, my whole family grated around the kitchen and we all cook and have an amazing family time. I love this place and cant wait for next July. Nice place to host a group

The kitchen and grill were perfect for preparing group meals, and the common space made for a lively gathering room. The bedrooms were not as advertised in the listing. There were supposed to be 6 K or Q rooms, but one of the queen beds had been moved in with another, so there were only 5 private double occupancy rooms, which wasn’t helpful for our couples’ planned sleeping arrangements.

Gorgeous, large home.

This house is beautiful and in a perfect location. Everything is very comfortable and clean. Lots of amenities and activities for guests. Only complaint is an over-sensitivity to noise. They pretty much expect you to be in bed by 9pm or to be completely silent. We were watching Hallmark Christmas movies on TV and got multiple noise complaints which was frustrating. Nothing came of it but it was upsetting since we were following the rules and did not host a big party or play loud music.

Lots of space for a large family, pool table, large sofa, a game table, and another game table to put together a puzzle or play a board game. Lots of places to relax and set. Kitchen is fully stocked with kitchen utensils, and even an extra fridge in the laundry area. Hot tub and outside area is amazing. Plenty of rooms, and beds (the beds are a little hard, so if you like a soft bed bring a pillow topper) Fire place is so cozy (bring wood). There is a TV over by the board games and one above the fireplace ( you can only watch cable, streaming doesn’t work that well) Very clean, and cozy. Close to downtown Idyllwild. Loved this cabin!
