It was a very nice experience staying at the hotel. The staffs are very friendly and the price are also fair. The hotel rooms are pretty clean and the location is amazing if you like to do more of walking or hiking. It was a bit private place, not much noise from outside. Just pure Nature. Im very happy with our stay. Highly recommended.

This was such a welcoming hotel with fantastic rooms and a fantastic breakfast. This was part of a three week trip to Europe and they even did our laundry for the reasonable price of 10 Euro. It's close to town and the restaurant had very good food as well. No air conditioning in the rooms but we were able to create a breeze which kept things cool with the ample windows. Very nice stay.

It was very warm in the room due to no airconditioning and when you opened the window for some fresh air, the whole room was immediately filled with a lot of small flies. We’ve counted a least 50. Perhaps is a little curtain to keep the flies and bugs out a solution. Or an airconditioning.

ich war super glücklich noch ganz spontan eine schöne Übernachtungsmöglichkeit in Idar- Oberstein zu finden. Die Lage des Hotels ist super; der Checkin war sehr nett. Im Zimmer war leider ein sehr merkürdiger Geruch, "abgestanden" aus dem Bad. Soweit so gut. Das kann man alles lüften. Allerdings gab es am Abend kein warmes Wasser. Als ich das morgens sagte, bekam ich nur die Antwort, man könne nichts machen, heute Früh hätte ich ja warmes Wasser gehabt und das Heizungssystem hätte keine Fehlermeldung ausggeben. Da kanner jetzt nichts machen. Kein Wort der Netschuldigung, viel mehr hatte ich das Gefühl, man wollt miir die Idee vermitteln, ich würde nach Wegen der Ersparnis/Preisreduktion suchen. Das ist nciht schön. Das Frühstück war schon aufgebaut. Leider wurde manches nicht mehr aufgefüllt.

Das Hotel liegt wunderbar ruhig. Zum Entspannen genau richtig. Diese Lage und der Name (BERGhotel) haben natürlich den Nachteil, dass man zum Ort den Berg runter und zurück natürlich HOCH laufen muss. Da hat man gleich sportliche Betätigung! SEHR freundliches Personal. Sollte etwas fehlen o.ä., einfach Bescheid geben.

Wir haben nicht die gebuchte Suite erhalten.Als Entschuldigung gabs ne Fl Wein die den downgrade preislich nicht wett machte.Hygiene ist sehr mangelhaft in diesem Hotel.Auf der Matraze lag ein Schamhaar!!Das Duvet war voller gelber Flecken!Frühstück war am Sonntag in Ordnung, am Montag leider nur ein trauriger Abklatsch davon.Leider alles in die Jahre gekommen und ungepflegt, wie die ganze Stadt auch.Wir kommen garantiert nie mehr.

Wir waren über den Osterferien für 4 Tage in diesem Hotel. Leider fanden wir die Unterkunft nicht so gut. Im Badezimmer hatten wir schwarzen Schimmel in der unteren Ecke und auf den Fliesen außerdem fiel sofort auf, dass wohl nicht täglich gewischt wird, da unter dem Waschbecken weiße Kalkflecken vorhanden waren, da die Dusche dort nicht richtig dicht war und dort das Wasser immer hin lief. Wenn man allerdings jeden Tag durchwischen würde, können dort keine Flecken entstehen. Das Zimmer roch auch beim betreten ein bisschen muffig. Des Weiteren war die Auswahl beim Frühstück nicht sonderlich. Es gab keinen Kakao, bei den gekochten Eiern war das weiße noch flüssig und es gab zwar Rührei, der war aber meistens kalt. Speck gab es auch nicht sondern immer nur Würstchen (da bin ich bei der Preiskategorie weitaus besseres gewohnt). Auch die Sauberkeit ließ hier zu wünschen übrig. Wir saßen alle 4 Tag an gleichen Platz am Fenster. Die Fenstbank war ein reiner Friedhof von Bienen und Schneidern auf die man dann die Tage gucken konnte. Auch hab ich nie einen gesehen, der die Tische abgeräumt und sauber gewischt hat. Alles in allem würden wir nicht nochmals in dieses Hotel gehen.

Frühstück sehr gut Die Katzen super gut Zimmer und Preis super nett Für mich war das das passende Moment Ich musste kurz in Idar-Oberstein anhalten und fand ich das Hotel auf Expedia. Sehr korrektes Hotel. Ventilator im Badezimmer zu laut aber. Man soll diese einmal prüfen lassen... Mitten in der Nacht war ich da haben mich dann nur die 2 Katzen empfangen bis die Rezeption am Früh-morgen kam und ich früh-einchecken konnte. Ich konnte aber zuerst genug und gut Frühstücken. Dann zu fuss nach Idar Innenstadt spazieren gehen. Die Zimmern sind nach Steinen benannt. Ich hatte die Tigerauge bekommen. Eye of the Tiger. Naja.

Außerhalb des Ortes gelegen, daher sehr ruhig, ganz wunderbar. Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet, Bett sehr bequem, kleiner Balkon mit Ausblick ins Grüne, Bad prima. Guter Kaffee morgens, wichtig! Aber: die Kaffeemaschine bräuchte ein Warnschild, dass sie zischt und spuckt, wenn sie loslegt (Kaffeeflecken auf dem Shirt leider). Frühstück mit allem, was man braucht, incl. leckerer Fruchtsaft-Shots!!

Wir fanden die Tage super, die Lage und die Ruhe tat uns richtig gut. Ja, es roch etwas komisch, aber das lag wahrscheinlich daran das vorher ein Raucher in dem Zimmer war oder eben vor dem Zimmer auf der Terrasse bzw am Teich. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und lecker. Bei den Fruchtaufstrichen war leider kein Hinweis, was es ist. Der Frühstücksraum war im Industrie Look, was mir ziemlich gut gefiel.

Leider ist das Hotel in die jahre gekommen. Es wurde nur stümperhaft versucht etwas das alter zu kaschieren. Versuch war da. Stark muffiger geruch im Zimmer. Personal ist bemüht aber überfordert. Sauberkeit wird nicht gerade groß geschrieben. Kalkreste auf Bodenfliesen und einiges mehr. Preisleisungsverhältnis past nicht. Schade...
