Great place if you surf. Has a a shower and bikes with surf racks if you want to go down south to Shidashita or elsewhere. There's several places nearby to rent boards including Murasaki Sports rentals. Bit of a walk to anything nearby so you will need a bike or bring a car (parking is available on the lot)
