The room was the standard Japanese shoebox, but the beds were comfy, the amenities were there, and the price was great. Hotel was clean, VERY conveniently located next to a station, and the breakfast was very tasty, with a decent mix of Japanese and western foods. You can judge a hotels clientele by whether they have natto in the breakfast spread or not.
Obviously most people will be staying here if they are going to the Disney resort, just keep in mind there is literally nowhere to put your luggage in your room. We have a double twin room and we barely had anywhere to put our backpacks. lol but all in all, great hotel!
Also there is a Lawsons basically in the lobby
We could not ask for a better stay. The hotel was only 10 min from the Disney Resort and the train station is literally behind the hotel with a Lawson’s on the corner. The hotel staff was very helpful and made our stay relaxing. What more could you want for a Tokyo Disney Vacation. If you are looking for a quiet, inexpensive stay near Disney property… this is it!
Perfect location if you are going to Disneyland. One minute walk to the train station and it's only two stops away. Everything was clean and organized. They have working stations where you can plug your phone/laptop etc. Not much around the neighborhood but there are two convinience stores walking distance.
If you are going to Tokyo Disney or Disney Sea this is the right hotel, because the metro is just around the corner and there is no transfer lines. The breakfast is delicious with a variety of food daily. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Also, there is an Aeon and ikspiari mall for shopping and many restaurants. I would stay here again.

The room was clean from surface however the air vents and underbed where very dusty... i the mattress was not comfortable at all it was sagging in the middle and for some reason i felt super itchy in the sheets.... the bathroom was clean and a great size... almose bigger then the bedroom areas... the breakfast was layed out everymorning however not many options for vegetarians accept pastries and half a pot of cornflakes...also the lawsons next door had one veg dish cheese and hashbrown gratin which was out of stock on my second night so went to bed hungry after a long day at parks... great location literally next door to station however ylu can not hear any train noice. I qould stay agin only due to location
The hotels staff were amazing and friendly the only downside is the rooms were small but that seems to be the going trend here in Tokyo.

The staff was very helpful and the services was very good.
The locations is excellent. It is located near the train station. And the convenient store nearby.
Also, the breakfast was delicious and great value.
Overall good experience. Clean with quite a large bathroom. Bed was also very comfortable. Conveniently located by the train station and next door to a convenience store.

It’s super good for Disney travels since it’s only two stops away to Mahima station and in the opposite non rush direction . Hotel is old and very close to station you can hear the train sounds and see the tracks . Free breakfast was good . The Chinese buffet was better than Japanese . Toilet was not upto Japanese standard and smelled wierd but we found it to be better in value and prefect easily a 8/10
From the start of my visit to the very end, this hotel provided a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out process was relatively simple and with the friendly staff helping it was quick and easy.
The room was nicely sized and the full-size shower and bathtub was enjoyed thoroughly. After long days out in the Japanese summer sun, a nice shower and relaxing bath is warranted. The room was well cleaned and maintained by staff. Amenities were abundant and readily available via the ground floor lounge room. If requested at the front desk you are also provided an iron and ironing board to use.
The daily break was wonderful and tasty. It's a self-service style filled with different foods ranging from rice, miso soup, fried meat, fish, and other foods. The restaurant was clean and had plenty of seating available even when it got busy.
I was visiting family in Funabashi, Chiba which was only a short train ride away so the incredibly close proximity of the Ichikawa Shiohama station was very nice. You walk outside and the train station is practically attached to the hotel almost.
Right next to the hotel you'll also find a Lawsons convenience store. Easy to visit in the mornings and afternoons as you leave and return from the hotel. You'll find a good selection of drinks to beat the summer sun or snacks to enjoy in your room.
Overall CVS Bay Hotel was a fantastic stay and I hope to utilize them again in the future. Thank you for allowing my stay in Chiba to be relaxing.

Great location but not the value expected
VERY expensive for the area and was nothing special. The front desk was a mix of rude to good service. I used google translate to check in since no-one spoke english. The typical tiny room had a western bathroom with a (toilet only) door that opened up and hit the bed...the bathroom didn't have a fan...The shower had a separate door entry and the sink was in the main sleeping area.
The room came with breakfast, but it smelled horrible and we did not partake in that food, even if it was free.
This was the most expensive hotel of our four week stay in Japan and it was not worth the money. The restaurant described as on-site was hosting a private party and not open for dinner the night we arrived so count on convenience store food and train station vending machines for meals - there are no shops or other restaurants nearby.
It was literally just outside the train station and two train stops from Disneyland, so I'd give it a high rating for convenience. Lesson learned: Had we known how poor a value it was, we would have stayed in downtown Tokyo (for less money and access to restaurants) and taken the longer train ride to Disneyland. It's a great place for families with small kids that need to be carried because of it's close proximity to Disneyland and being just outside the train station.
TLDR; We stayed here for 5 nights and had an overall decent experience.
First the good- the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, and the room was good for the price and location (it’s only a 10 minute train ride to Maihama where Disney is). We knew we were getting a small room when we booked it so it didn’t bother us. The staff also brought us fresh towels and pajamas everyday, which was nice. The beds were comfy but the pillows were stiff. When I asked for a fluffier pillow to the receptionist they did their best to find me another pillow which I super appreciated. The hotel itself is RIGHT next to Ichikawa Shiohama station. Literally up against it but we never had any noise issues.
The bad- the shower curtain had mold and stains on it which is an easy and cheap thing to replace, which was disconcerting. It made me wonder where else they were cutting corners. There’s only 1 outlet by the bed, so bring an extension cable otherwise you and your roommate are taking turns charging your phone. There may have been other outlets around the room but if there were we couldn’t find them. There were also small stains on the walls in the sleeping area. The room was so small that if you have more than 1 suitcase it won’t fit in the room. Me and my friend had to take turns opening our luggage in the small area between our beds whenever we needed something out of them. I recommend shipping your luggage to your next hotel or location and keeping minimal luggage with you here.
This is an excellent location for anyone visiting the Tokyo Disneyland resort. It's ¥170 and two stops away with breakfast included or the option of two convenience stores located within.
The only unexplainable issue I had was I returned home to find my door was left propped open by the cleaning staff. I returned at 10 PM and have no idea how long it was propped allowing access to anyone. Note: No items appeared to be missing but a bit concerning to know anyone could've toured my room without consent.
