The hotel is so big and has a large indoor and outdoor onsen plus sand steamed bath. It is quite entertaining. It is located right in front of the sea and the view is spectacular. It is very remote and quiet area so nice place to relax.
Very good baths and food! The sand bath was excellent. The kaiseki dinner was well prepared. The museum next to the hotel was also worth a visit to learn about the local culture. Staff members very heartwarming.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We stayed one night package with dinner and breakfast. The Japanese dinner set was tasty and good beyond our expectation, while breakfast was below par. The hotel has been in operation for decades so building interior is dated. Staff are very helpful though.
A comfortable resort for relaxing.
Hot spring, sand bath, swimming pool are good.
There are several restaurants but remember to make dinner reservation when you confirm your room reservation.
No supporting facilities outside the resort, that is, no convenient store, no shop, no taxi when you step out of resort. Just enjoy a 'slow down' life and the hotel facilities.
If you are staying for more than one night, carefully plan you schedule, as several facilities are closed during 10am-3pm, in addition, no lunch provided.
Very old traditional onsen hotel
The onsen bath is big and very beautiful
Staff friendly and can speak our language
Messing has room for improvement
Like the museum very much
My 10 yr old did her own thing. I felt she was safe on her own and that’s saying a lot. I wouldn’t give her such a long leash in Austin Texas. No way.
We were the only foreigners over a two night stay and everyone was so nice and polite and accommodating.
The western style rooms are outdated and they’re still rocking the stiff mattresses they got in the 90s lol
The Japanese style rooms looked updated and they have ocean views but also 18K yen more dear.
