Terrible

The check-in was terrible. They didn’t accept a credit card. We had to pay in cash. The hotel is old. The location the worst. Drunk people outside at night, we had to call the police. Cotacachi is awesome but this hotel is the worst

So worn out

thread bare towels with holes and bathmat, hardly any room service - trash never emptied, dust so thick you can write on tables, had to clean top of closet before setting anything down on it, really creaky floorboards, shower water wouldn't get hot for at least 8 minutes - yes, I timed it, curtains so thin that all outside light was clearly lit in the room, etc.

Charming & picturesque good wifi great location needs maintenance. more attention to detailed cleaning required. One unprofessional/ unfriendly chef/cleaner/receptionist male staff member. Female staff delightful friendly and helpful.

Good for an overnight place to crash

Loved the city and everything around it. The courtyard was beautiful but staff not friendly. The roses in the room were dead and this is what they pride themselves on!

Perfect location Morgan an TJ are great host and the staff is very good. Definitely the best place to stay one your first adventure. The restaurant is fanastic... fresh fruit juice made each morning..wish we had more time

Fresh flowers! Colonial character

Nicely maintained colonial style building. Friendly staff, abundant breakfast, fresh flowers throughout property and in room. No elevator, however, so if one flight of stairs is a problem for you, consider that. Free massage with 3 night stay - was nice.

Bel hotel avec patio

Trés bien accueillie. Hotel bien situé, au centre dans une petite ville prés de otavalo. Belle décoration, chambre spacieuse et lit trés confotable. Eau chaude a volonté. Repas au restaurant correct au niveau qualité prix mais peut etre trouverez vous mieux dans les rues au alentours. Nous avons privilégié l'hotel et non le centre de otavalo ou les hotels sont moins bien coté et plus bruillant. Bon choix mais il faut prévoir un budget taxi en consequence.

Perfect location in Cotacachi

We were met by a very friendly staff member, and the joy of the Inn never stopped. The rooms were nice, but not perfect. The location is great; the Inn is beautiful and the staff tries very hard to make your stay enjoyable. Dinner was just so-so, so we only ate at the restaurant once. But the included breakfast was very adequate, and tasty. I would recommend this hotel during your Cotacachi visit.
