El hotel estuvo bien pero queda en pleno centro, los alrededores no son convenientes para caminar en la noche. En la cuadra solo hay ferreterías y un D1. En el día se ve mucho indigente.

The facility was quiet despite the fact that it is located in a busy downtown area. The swimming pool was clean and a good addition for a hot summer day. Room rates were high comparable with nicer hotels in southern Colombia. Breakfast was not included and no restaurant service was available at night during the time of our stay. We didn't feel comfortable walking at night in the area to look for a place to have dinner. So we ordered in. We were not able to find a room for five people in this hotel when we were looking for a hotel room through Expedia. There was no much accommodation choice in Ibague at the time of booking, so we had to book two rooms: one for 3 guests and one for two guests. However, when we arrived in the hotel and went into our respective rooms we were shocked to find space for 5 people in each room. We returned the key for one room and asked to be charged only for one room. Each room had a double bed and three single beds with enough space for our group of five people to move around. It is hard to find hotel rooms for large families and we inquired why the hotel does not advertised large rooms in Expedia.

Remodeled rooms, nice pool, good WiFi

Good hotel with lots of history and character. I was in room 237 overlooking the pool and everything was good. Arriving late at night the entrance and surrounding area look pretty grim, but it's much better once you are inside and the hotel is quite large. Good value for $36 (single, non-refundable rate). AC, TV, small fridge, very hot water in the shower, and WiFi works well throughout. One block from Calle 15 and the pedestrian shopping street with lots of shops and a few blocks to Bolivar Plaza. A couple of supermarkets are within 2 blocks to stock up on water and beer for the fridge. There is also a small, friendly bar open in the evening just next to the hotel (take a right out the front door and it's on the right) if you want to get a beer outside of the hotel without walking too far at night. Breakfast wasn't included in my rate, so I didn't try the restaurant. The pool is kept clean and is a treat after walking in the heat during the day.

Perfect location, staff and experience!

Celebrated my birthday there! This is an older hotel that is very well kept and superbly managed. In my experience they really care for their patrons and do the best they can to accommodate their needs. The service was amazing, the front desk staff was warm and helpful. They are more than happy to suggest restaurants for you, show you their menus, and make reservations for you. The included breakfast was just right and the location of the hotel close to downtown is ideal. On top of all this, the room rate was quite reasonable. I will be back again and again.

Wonderful hotel, close to plaza

We loved our 9 day stay here while we visited family. The location was perfect - near the pedestrian friendly shopping area leading to the main plaza, and plenty of restaurant options (including a good one at the hotel). The interior courtyard and pool gave us a respite from the busy streets, staff were fabulous, room was comfy and clean.

Lovely hotel, even lovelier staff.

I had a few small problems at first but on contacting the manager (who is lovely!) she sorted them out then and there! If you have any problems, the staff are so ready and willing to help you out. The restaurant is really good and the food is delicious! And it's always a bonus to have a little pool to cool off and relax!
