This property is beautiful and all the staff is so nice and helpful and they’re always striving to do their best. The room was nice and it was perfect for me and my family, we all slept comfortably and the view was unbeatable. Absolutely breath taking. There were so many activities for everyone in the family. Had a wonderful time. I definitely recommend it to everyone

Pricey, but decent place. Staff at the reception were all very young kids, inexperienced and giggly, making fun of my lack of Spanish skills. We had a triple room for 2 adults + Child but they made us pay 14000 cop for the child. I thought the booking should have had it and I thought that was unfair. Tacky extra bed given. Great pool. Strange that there was no coffee maker in the room or complimentary coffee at the reception.

With my family we frequent the Estelar Hotels in Colombia in our travels, we had previously booked via Expedia chat for the Christmas event in the city of Ibague Hotel Estelar Altamira, when we arrived at the hotel to check in they confirmed that we did not have our reservations available. It is a pity, they looked for responsible everywhere but no solution, finally we were left without the meeting and with Christmas in our rooms. Surely we will not choose this option for our trips again.
Thanks to Estelar Hotels for making our Christmas unforgettable.

Este hotel fue espectacular. El servicio desde que llegamos fue muy bueno, profesional y todo el personal muy amable. El cuarto muy limpio, buenas opciones en el restaurante, buena conexión a wifi y muchas opciones de entretenimiento en el hotel. El hotel tiene la opción de shuttle desde y hacia el aeropuerto contratando al señor Marco que fue espectacular!!!! Me alegro que cuenten con trabajadores así

I liked the pool. I disliked the slow service. The drain in the shower was slow which caused the bathroom floor to get flooded and they would take forever to come dry and mop the floor. They didn’t leave extra towels for us to use and dry the floor or floor mats. Our room was made every day but we ran out of toilet paper twice before they didn’t leave any. I didn’t like the fact that we couldn’t sleep because next to us there was a crying/screaming toddler all night long. Also a barking/howling dog all throughout the hotel that the owners had on a leash and was a sassy bratty thing that didn’t let us enjoy breakfast or the pool the first 3 days. I know this is beyond the control of hotel management but they should try to accommodate people with kids and dogs together with guest with similar needs and not close to people without infants and pets. Lots of pets in this hotel. I have a dog and love dogs but I’m considerate of other guests therefore don’t travel with my dog. Overall servers and staff were very polite and tried their best but the service needs a lot of improvement. Housekeeping is not available after 10. Our first night my daughter got sick and vomited 4 times throughout the night. Housekeeping never came. I had to suck it up until morning and at 7 am, I called and half hour later no none was coming, I needed the bathroom bad. I had to go down to the lobby in my pjs without brushing my teeth to tell them to send someone ASAP, not a good experience.

Terrible place..stayed here a couple of months ago because of the pool and the setting. The service is sub par...the rooms need complete remodeling...staff is slow and lazy..the administration is terrible. The building is real old. Air conditioning units are broken....its not worth giving it a try...its just terrible.

We brought our nieces 12 and 17 with documentation we could have them legally with us. We invited the 17 year olds long time 18 year old boyfriend. However, the hotel called the police stating we were doing something inappropriate with minors. This led to a few hours of stress and explanations with management and the police. We were accused of committing crimes after we discussed leaving to go to another hotel. The management is very rude and incompetent. I will be contacting my attorney about being harassed for having a family vacation at a secure hotel.
Todo estuvo muy bien. Inicialmente me cobraron el desayuno de mis hijos, que estaba incluido, pero al final se hizo el ajuste.
