Cheap in the worst meaning of this word
The worst stay Ive ever had. Do not choose this place even for 1 night stay. It is always very noisy in your room because you hear everything from the corridors and from other rooms!! Also take in consideration that theres no HOT WATER (which i thought is impossible), and broken shower :) . The ONLY positive thing is location and thats it! Dont waste your money(even though its cheap)for this hotel go book something better,believe me its the worst

The room and the bathroom were very dirty. The bathroom hasnt even a soap to wash the hands. I paid for breakfast and i took only a glass of milk and an omelette. When i asked for more they answered thats all you can have. i DONT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL

Excellent stay
The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and public transportation. The service was excellent, large bathroom, updated furniture. Very customer friendly and non-stop currency exchange in the lobby. Great wi-fi service and breakfast available for a small fee.

Reception desk staff not very helpful or friendly. The hotel is in a rundown condition, in need of a major facelift or renovation. Very central location but noisy due to tram cars running from 06.00 to midnight.

Very communist, one night is fine
Like others have said, fine for one night. The woman who checked me in was grouchy and unfriendly, and the property is faded, with a musty smell in the air. My room smelled like stale cigarette smoke even though it was nonsmoking but I had a room facing an inner courtyard as requested so it was fairly quiet. I propped open a window to let in air and that was fine. The room itself is pretty spare but there was a grubby minifridge I appreciated. Breakfast is included and whilst it ends a bit early for my taste at 10:30am, another woman at the front desk cooked a nice omelette for me. Wifi works well as does hot water and water pressure. Room was immaculate as was bathroom.

This is a nice 2 star hotel. the hotel also has a change which has the best rates as far as I checked. we ordered a breakfast, which is not bad and includes tea/coffee omelette with butter and jelly, some tomatoes and bread. there are also other options, I would prefer to book without breakfast and order it in the hotel if needed because it costs there around 13-15 lay if I remember correctly. location is good, 10-15 minutes walk from the mall, and in center location. the service was also good and they were very helpful and nice. the room was a bigger than standard, also nice. taxi costed us 25 lay from the airport to the hotel, and the way back was 20 lay. no change in the airport (there is ATM) we did the change in the hotel to pay the driver in lay as he requested. the change in the hotel seems to work 24 hours, (they also sleep there). there is AC in the room and it works with no problem.

Well located, functional hotel.
The receptionist was very helpful and arranged for us and our bikes to be transported to the airport the following morning.

Nice hotel, but noisy
Very nice hotel, with breakfast, air conditioner, spacious, however room was noisy overnight because of the trams proximity. You should ask for a room far away from the tram station. Very friendly staff and centrally located.

Clean, not far from railway station (10 minutes walk), but very old hotel, breakfast only basic. Nice people in the staff. Beautiful neighborhood if you like old town architecture.

Very fiendly and helpful staff
This is a hotel that needs to be visited because of its extremely friendly and helpful staff. Another good point is the tasty breakfast! Location is very central and is easy for reaching any place within the city.

If you have to stay in Iasi for a night...
For the first time ever I experienced a hotel having lost or not processing my Expedia reservation. Luckily, with a lengthy phone call from the receptionist to the hotel's business office, the situation was resolved. For a one or two night stay in Iasi, this hotel is acceptable. At one time, I feel certain this was an impressive facility, but no more. However, it is a solid basic hotel for Romania.

Not fancy but good value
I only needed a place to crash and dump my luggage for a few hours between two very inconveniently timed train trips, and the Continental worked out very well for me. On top of the very, very low price, it's close to the train station, and the location is excellent. Definitely not the nicest, newest, or fanciest choice out there, but the price makes it perfectly adequate for travelers on a tight budget who want to explore Iasi.

Please avoid!
I have never written a review like this before. It definitely was the worse place I have ever stayed. No hot water. First time I did not shower during that stay. Window that did not close. Noisy all night. Broken slats in the blinds. Horrendous stay. The only good thing about the hotel was that it was in a convenient location.

Ce qu'il nous fallait
Hôtel très centré, propre, personnel serviable. Un bureau de change ouvert non-stop se trouve dans le hall d'entrée, le bar sur la droite. Nous avons eu droit à une chambre spacieuse avec un hall d'entrée, on se serait cru dans un appartement. WC séparés de la salle de bain. Eau chaude et chauffage, pièces réchauffées. Serviettes propres et savons fournis. Seul bémol : lignes de tram en bas du bâtiment, bruit des trams et des vibrations aux heures de fonctionnement, pas gênant si nous y sommes habitués (d'autres chambres donnent vers la cour intérieure); de plus, les gens semblent fumer dans les chambres, la fumée sentait très fort chez nous, pas très agréable pour notre bébé. Séjour d'une nuit, ça nous allait dans l'ensemble.

立地よしのレトロホテル
古都ヤシの中心地というロケーションです。そもそも非常にコンパクトな街ですが、そのど真ん中に位置しているため、文化宮殿はもちろんあちこち林立する個性豊かな教会群などを巡るにも、古い家並みを楽しむにも絶好のロケーションです。このエリアでは建物がレトロな分だけ価格も良心的。残念ながら全室喫煙可ではありますが、石造りのためかさほど残り香は感じませんでした。年季の入ったエレベーターは使いこなすのに少々時間がかかります（扉を完全に手動で閉めないと動かない）。宿の至近を行き交う路面電車の音が気になる人もいるかもしれませんが、レトロな乗り物大好きな自分にはそれもまた愉快でした。大きな浴槽はあるものの、シャワーを浴びようとするとお湯は浴槽の外にも飛び散って水浸し。これはやや残念。しかしながら概ね快適です。

Room was big but bathroom smelly. Had to sleep with the window open to evacuate the smell. Reception lady could not point on map the location of the hotel. We were given the wrong directions..... Will not stay at that hotel again.

Pagamos mas de lo que debiamos
Estuve 3 días con una amiga. Habíamos reservado una habitación doble con 2 camas. Cuando llegamos nos dijo la recepcionista que nos habían puesto en habitaciones individuales por el mismo precio. A la hora de ir a pagar nos cobro el doble, porque decía que estuvimos en habitaciones individuales.
