We were very pleased with the studio. It was spotless, well lit, nicely decorated and in a calm part of the town yet 2-3 minutes from the port, restaurants and shops. Yiannis kindly met us at the port, helped us with our luggage and was always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions, make reservations, etc. Highly recommended place with a beautiful terrace to have breakfast or a glass of wine in the afternoon :-)

We loved our stay in the spacious and well-equipped Senior Suite, with two bedrooms. The quality of the apartment is felt in the many details: marble floors, new windows, television, modern appliances. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to make a meal using the fresh produce and items from the grocery store 100m down the street. It’s close enough to the main action at the port and nearby beaches, but far enough up a gently sloping incline to feel quiet and very safe. I am already planning our next trip to return - for at least a week or more. Thank you to Yiannis and his lovely mother for the special care and hard work to make this a top destination!

Lovely apartment with everything you could wish for a relaxing vacation from your Greek vacation. Hydra was a surprise. Very peaceful and beautiful and the hotel was perfectly located for exploring the island.

I have not been to Hydra before, so I didn't know where to stay so I picked Hydras Chromata based on reviews. We stayed in the Senior apartment. This was an awesome place, very spacious 2 bedroom 2.5 bath with a large living room and kitchen which separates the 2 bedrooms. There is a great restaurant steps away and a grocery store perhaps 50 meters away. The port is a 2 minute walk. Anna, the host, was great. Every morning there was fresh bread hanging on the door. The fridge was stocked with milk orange juice, meat and cheese for snacks plus yogurt and other breakfast treats. I will only stay here when we return. No regrets.

Our stay was wonderful. Jonas (spelling?) met us at the port and walked us to our apartment. He was kind and friendly. The apartment was spacious and immaculate. Our stay was perfect! I highly recommend Hydra Chromata.

The place is beautiful, very central, modern and as it looks on photos! Bed was very comfortable and room spacious. Host was wonderful, polite and friendly, met us at port, and while breakfast was not included, we found everything we needed in the room free of charge as a treat! Lovely place indeed and best we have stayed in Hydra so far after 3 visits. We shall return surely!

Beautiful property. Natalie, our host, was attentive but not intrusive. One suggestion is to provide written instructions for the coffee pot and other appliances. Wasn't sure if toilet paper was ok in the bowl, for example.

Great hotel room on Hydra
We sailed to Hydra and missed the check-in window. I felt bad as it was our fault. Bet we were able to contact the property and make arrangements. Our host was very nice and accommodating. The room was very clean and modern as well.

Person in charge Natalia was most helpful and friendly. Location was good and quiet, away from the crowd. Everything is clean and new. Love the fresh bread delivery every morning for our breakfast.

The views from the hotel were spectacular. The staff was over the top. They helped us in every way. When we return to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again. Oia is lovely.

Pretty apartment with wonderful view
We had wonderful time From really warm welcome at the port until the time we left. The staff was really considerate , kind, and helpful. The room was really clean, perfectly furnished, with wonderful view. I marked 4 Star since we couldn’t connect to the WiFi the whole stay.

We were met at the port and escorted to the hotel upon our arrival. Anna was extremely kind and helpful, giving us her phone number and a map of the island to help with a hike we planned to do during our stay. Our room had a balcony overlooking the village and two bathrooms which was very nice. Breakfast included fresh, warm bread from a local bakery and it was delicious!

Beautiful Apartment. Not a hotel
This is a beautiful apartment located a bout 300 meters from the portside in Hydra town. So very well located. We had the "superior executive" and I would guess this was by far the best apartment as it had the only roof terrace with views of the harbour. Furnished with some antiques as well as being brand new kitchen and bathroom. Felt very special.

After the crowded pedestrian streets and bumper to bumper vehicles on the very narrow main road the absence of cars and an over abundance of cruise ship visitors was so welcomed in hydra. visually it is as if you have stepped back in time. I had to remind myself that this was an actual town and not a recreation like you would find in a tourist attraction.

Beautiful apartment in Hydra
This is an immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, bright and airy apartment. It is exactly as represented in the pictures. It is not far up the hill and very close to a wonderful bakery. We loved having the half bath along with the master full, even though there were only 2 of us. We didn't have cell access so it was a little difficult connecting with the owner but he found us at the dock. Once we had the unit wifi he responds quickly. Hydra has lots of great places to eat and be sure to enjoy the beautiful sunsets!

Very large, comfortable suite.
We had contact with Dimitris, the manager, via email a couple of days before arrival. I gave him the arrival time for our ferry, but he wasn't there when we arrived. Had to call him to have him escort us to the hotel. He gave us a very quick tour of our suite, rushing through everything. Our friends' suite wasn't ready when we all arrived. We couldn't believe how lovely the suites were: very large and well-equipped, and very clean. There were various snacks available, as well as a variety of foods, juice and coffee for breakfast. Fresh rolls were delivered every morning. We had trouble operating the coffee makers, but everything else worked fine. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were conveniently located to the harbor area, about a five-minute walk.

Simply excellent!
Been travelling to Hydra for years, and whilst there are many other decent places to stay, we now have a family and can quite honestly say that this place was as close to perfect that we could really expect for the money in Hydra. We had the lower apartment that was huge and very well appointed. 2 en-suites means that it is also perfect for 2 couples. Lovely courtyard for breakfast or post dinner drink. It is also the perfect distance away from the front - a few minutes walk with no strain, as there are zero steps. But also very close to everything that you need including a supermarkets, bars and tavernas. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends and will more than likely be returning ourselves next year. Almost forgot to say - all brand new, very comfortable beds and central A/C. Supplies (water, juice, cereal ham, cheese) supplied each day and fresh bread waiting for you each morning.

Mind blowingly beautiful condos
My family and I had the best stay at Hydras Chromata. The hotel staff picked us up from the port and brought us to our condo. The rooms were spacious, beautiful and clean. They even stocked our fridge with snacks for free! If we go back, we will be staying here again!

Peaceful setting on a busy Island
We were met at the port by Dimitris who escorted us to the accommodation which was only a few minutes walk from the port. The apartment was furnished to a very high standard, the fridge was very well stocked for breakfast the next morning and fresh bread delivered early in the morning. There was a private courtyard where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The Wi-Fi was super fast. The only downside was that we hadn't booked to stay longer but we will certainly return to the island of Hydra and the Hydra Chromats

Our stay was wonderful. Dimitris, from the hotel, met us at the boat dock and escorted us to the apartment. He was so helpful, informative, and accommodating. The location was great, easy walking to the harbor, as well as other areas on the island. The breakfast that they provided was also very abundant. Plenty of granola, yogurt, cereal, bread, meat, and cheese. The apartment itself was spacious and very comfortable. We would gladly stay here again.

Fantastic stay!
Giannis has been a great host. First and foremost the room was at a good condition. It was spacious, clean with all the amenities one needs. And Giannis was in reach in case anything extra was needed. He welcomed us at the port and brought us fresh bread every morning. When we are in Hydra again, we will definitely look to stay there again. Very happy with this choice.

Väldigt fint, mitt i Hydra stad på lugn gata.
Fräscht, fint, vackert! Wifi tyvärr svagt- svårt med uppkopplingen. Brist på glas, skålar, större fat, skål till sallad. Plats för 5 men inte tillräckligt med husgeråd. Brödrost saknades samt vanlig kaffebryggare i övrigt bara +++++
