Second visit to Inn the Woods and I’m sure there’ll be a third. A wonderful B&B with the most caring hosts possible. Breakfast is incredible and the Tree Top Room is spacious and ridiculously relaxing. Whether you are in the area for the attractions or just some R&R as we were, you must come here.

This is an impeccable bed and breakfast at the end of a forested cul-de-sac in Hyde Park. Harry, a trained chef with much experience, serves a perfect presented and perfectly prepared breakfast.

We were in the TreeTop suite that has a 360 view of the wooded area and stream. The breakfasts were unbelievable with a hot entree, muffins, and fruit -- all uniquely prepared from scratch each day by Harrison. The location was very convenient to the area historical treasures. We will go back if we are in the area again.

The Inn was really in the woods! We were just minutes from the center of the town and the highway which took us to all the places we wanted to go in minutes. The Culinary Institute, the walkway over the Hudson, the Roosevelt library and other historical sites. It was near hiking trails but unfortunately the weather prevented us from hiking. The place itself is spotless and very well equipped with anything you would need for a comfortable stay. There's a little kitchen area with coffee pot, tea pot, microwave, dishes, etc. The bathroom was very nice, the bed was comfy, and there's a couch and a table to sit at. There are large windows and we were on the second floor and felt like we were in a treehouse. There's a balcony you can sit on. Harry made a wonderful breakfast with a bowl of berries, fresh muffin and a scone, an omelet, toast, and a roasted tomato as well as coffee and juice. Harry was very helpful and concerned for our comfort. We would definitely stay there again if we ever return to that area.

Older property, but good location. Harry, the owner, is an excellent cook and prepared fabulous breakfasts each day. I would go back there, if in the area again.

Beautiful location and wonderful breakfast.
Wonderful host who prepared 2 beautiful, homemade breakfasts. Good location. The AC unit in the room had a very bright light that kept me awake at night.

Pleasant surprise, peaceful area, literally in the woods but couple minutes' drive from good restaurants and sights. Really comfortable room. Good breakfast as is you had a private chef cooking and serving for you.

A beautiful and inspiring place to stay!
I loved it! I ended up staying in the Panoramic room up top and it’s such a beautiful and inspiring space! It’s quiet down a dead end street. Private. Perfect! Hyde Park is a great location too for doing a long weekend trip in Hudson Valley. It’s right in the middle of everything. Harry greets you when you come in. He gives you a detailed overview of the layout of the place. He’s easily accessible if you have any questions. He also makes the most delicious breakfasts. I have some pretty strict dietary needs and he accommodated for all of them and didn’t give me a hard time at all. Lovely place. I totally would book there again.

I loved the scenic views. The rooms were sparkling clean and quite large with a fireplace, beautifully decorated and functional , lots of extras . The breakfast was homemade and incredible made by the owner who was very nice . There was nothing I didn't like.

What an amazing weekend. We were greeted at the door by Harry who took us to the Treetop room, a rustic, spacious room at the top of the inn with panoramic views of the trees and river, perfect for a quiet, de-stressing weekend. To top it off, breakfast was amazing. A wonderful breakfast by the fireplace. We will be back 😊

Perfect!
Harry was an amazing host! We were greeted when we arrived and he showed us our room and the amenities. The pictures online did not do the treetop suite justice. It was much larger than expected. The large windows made it feel very open, but we felt that we had privacy. The room was amazing! There is a cute fireplace that provided the ideal ambiance for our evening. It was a perfect spot for our little getaway. The breakfast that Harry served was wonderful and we did not leave hungry. Such an amazing host and property. A++++ for a review!!!

This property is lovingly well-maintained and very cozy. We checked in around 6:15 and met Harry, who was very welcoming but gave us privacy and explained the ins and outs of the property. We had a lovely, delicious dinner at Le Petit Bistro in Rhinebeck, as recommended by Harry. We enjoyed a quiet night and woke to a fresh, scrumptious, homemade breakfast and specially roasted and brewed coffee. I recommend Inn the Woods B&B without any hesitation!

Tucked away within the wooden area of Hyde Park next to lovely brook of water. It’s close enough to town to get a quick bite to eat or sit at a local brewery. Our Host was very friendly with information about the room, it made us feel welcome and comfortable.

What an amazing place to stay! I grew up locally, never knew this place existed until a month ago, I loved my stay. Spoke to Harry each day, very kind host! The breakfast was out of this world, absolutely my favorite B&B I’ve stayed at. I’ll certainly return in the future!

Inn of the Woods was absolutely one of the nicest inns we have ever stayed at. And we travel all of the time! The room was spacious and beautiful with lovely amenities. Highly recommend staying there fi you're in the Hyde Park vicinity.
