Great place with a great location

J & B Holiday is something special to visit. We got their top-floor apartment overseeing the Adriatic sea and Pakleti Islands. Very spacious on two floors with a lot of places outdoor to chill or grill and it was fully equipped with everything you need. It had a nice pool, outdoor shower, chickens, olive trees, lime trees, grapes, and a cute little dog that only barked the first time you met. The location is a few minute's walk to the ocean with sunbeds, ladders into the water from the cliffs, and places to eat/drink. Hula Hula is just 6 minutes away. To the city center maybe 15 min. The owners lives on the facility and will offer you dinner, breakfast, or basically whatever you need. Very friendly indeed. Would love to visit again.

Great hospitality

What a pleasant surprise. From check in to departure we had an experience of being "part of the J&B family". We purchased breakfast and had all in a perfect stay in the Island of Hvar. We had the pleasure of a sea view apartment and that is a beautiful sight. The pool was great as an addition to the bathing in the salty water on the Adriatic sea. I can only give my best recommendation. Do not hesitate.

En fantastisk lägenhet som överträffade våra förväntningar. Perfekt läge, fantastisk utsikt och välutrustad. Familjen som äger boendet ser sina gäster som familjemedlemmar och bjuder in till en varm samvaro i sitt hem. Stället erbjuder både frukost med ägg och grönsaker från egen odling men de erbjuder också kvällsmat inkl hemmagjort vin som överträffar alla restauranger på Hvar. Med andra ord rekommenderar vi med varmt hjärta boendet och vi kommer definitivt att återvända nästa år.

Great place in Hvar.

J & B was a perfect place for our 5 day stay in Hvar. The property was in a good location with beautiful costal views. The old town hvar was only a small stroll away using the costal walk all the way into town. The pool at the property was a great way to cool down on a hot day and the hosts were amazing. They were very friendly and helpful. I Would definitely consider returning and would recommend to friends. The apartment was well furnished and very comfortable.

Apartment was great, separate bedroom to the kitchen and sitting room which was good. The balcony had brilliant views but only got the sun until about 1pm. It’s about a 15min walk into Hvar Town and only 5mins from Hula Hula bar and beaches. Lots of steps and uphill walking coming back but that is the same everywhere in Hvar. Although it says there is a pool, there are only two sun loungers and it’s directly in front of where the family live (Mum, Dad, Daughter and Granddaughter). They are all very welcoming but family life is going on around the pool so don’t expect a quiet poolside situation. The hosts have lots of useful recommendations of restaurants and which islands to visit and can arrange taxis etc. We arrived late, landing at 9pm in Split. Expedia sold us this package not being aware that the last boat to Hvar is at 8pm. It took a lot of back and forth with Expedia and J&B to get them to understand that we had no way of getting to the island (although J&B offered a private boat transfer for over 300EUROS). So just be aware that 24hr transfers are not really offered. J&B sorted us a room in Spit for the night which was great but Expedia were very unhelpful and haven’t refunded us the nights accommodation that we lost. Overall it’s a great location, great apartment and very friendly and helpful host.

Great host with a wonderful property with an unbeatable view. Very short walk to the water and a semi secluded water to swim in. Minor cons with the up and down walk into town (15ish minutes). Go amount of uphill and stairs if you are walking with luggage.

Spectacular view

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. This is a great place to stay if you are looking for a romantic holiday or just relaxing time. The view is spectacular and the room is clean. The beach is only 2 minutes walk away and the city centre only 10 minutes walk away, so perfect for us: quiet neighborhood but still close to the city. The staff is also really friendly and the pool is nice and clean. Nothing bad to say about this.

Couple stay

We booked the apartment at the last minute and we arrived the appointment was ready. Our stay at the property was very comfortable and if there were any small queries it was good to know that the owners were on site to help. We were given a lift to the port by the owner which really helpful. It may useful to notice that there is a steep walk up from the sea and you need reasonable fitness.

Apartment with outstanding view to sea & islands

Excellent equipped two-room apartment with a terrasse overlooking the bay and a view to many islands. The hosts are very charming and help you if ever needed. The closest beach is less than five minutes away, so is the closest grocery shop. And to the centre of the old town you walk either 10 minutes (closest along the main road) or 15 minutes (along the beach - with "hula hula bar"...). Despite the hula-hula thing (which has to stop at 10pm) the J&B is a tranquille place. Excellent WiFi! We enjoyed it very much and woul recomend it.

Fick en upplevelse över förväntan. Fräscha rum. Utsikten var helt fantastisk. Lugnt och skönt poolområde. Med tanke på få lägenheter fick vi ofta ha poolen för oss själva. Bra service där vi fick hjälp med transfer både på dit och hemresan. Gästvänligt. Vi är supernöjda med vår vistelse här och åker gärna hit igen.

Lovely place

Very clean , tidy and nice place to stay with a great view over the sea and a lovely small pool . A few minute walk to the closest store and to the citycenter about 10-15 minutes. The area has a lot of stairs to walk in so if you´re somehow disabled or not used to a lot of walking then this area and this place might be a challenge . But otherwise we highly recommend and are planning to visit them again someday.

Stayed for 3 nights, was a good experience. Had the room at the very top and had an excellent view over the ocean. Quite a distance from centre with hills to climb so wouldn't be suitable for some.

A fantastic place with great family-feeling!

First time in Hvar and what a fantastic place! Great hospitality and welcome from the host family, especially "Pomma" who made sure we had all we needed and offered us good recommendations for restaurants and activities! The location is great, close to Hula Hula Beach Bar and the main "beaches", nevertheless very relaxed and peaceful area with an outstanding view! Deeply greatful and recommends this to all looking for a nice stay in Hvar with an own apartment. Really hope to go back soon!

Nice view, annoying land lord.

The appartment was spaceous and had a nice view. But, do not go there if you would like to walk or talk to other people in the appartment after 11 PM. The building is lacking sound proofing and the land lord will complain imidiately after 11. Aslo, say no to all the suggestions about taxi, boat, etc from the land lord. It is much easier to make your own arrangements. A nice place for silent people, not the place to be if you are a group of singles.

Suosittelemme lämpimästi!

Vierailumme kesti viisi päivää ja viihdyimme erittäin hyvin. Huone oli siisti ja sieltä löytyi kaikki tarvitsemamme. Molemmilta parvekkeilta on upeat näkymät merelle ja lähisaarille, ja asunnon korkean sijainnin vuoksi meillä oli myös omaa rauhaa ja yksityisyyttä. Talolta on vain muutaman minuutin kävelymatka rannalle ja lähimpään kauppaan, ja alle vartissa pääsee kävellen Hvarin keskustaan. Lähialue on rauhallinen, naapurin käheä-äänistä kukkoa lukuun ottamatta emme juuri kuulleet muita ääniä. Paikan omistaja ja hänen perheensä olivat hyvin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita, majatalossa oli mukava tunnelma ja saimme myös hyviä käytännön vinkkejä muun muassa liikkumiseen.
