"Nice, new hotel in super location and many rooms have excellent views. Bar and restaurant are really good, far batter than average hotel. Be warned rooms don’t seem to have facial tissues, a d no muni fridge. Front desk staff and bar manager were wonderful and helpful."

"Excellent hotel. Smart, quiet, modern room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Easy short walk (15-20 minutes) to centre of Torshavn and harbour, or there are frequent free public buses stopping 1 minute from the hotel. Efficient and helpful staff on reception."

"I had a very pleasant few days in The Bird. Room was small and basic but comfortably and clean. The kitchen and dinning room are as good as you’ll get. Also a lounge for relaxing, which is great if you don’t want to leave at 1000. The only issue is they need a better system for food in the fridge as it’s full of stuff that people have left."
