"Beautiful older home on Coldwater lake that was a delight to stay in. Brought our boat for that last end of year fishing trip. View of the lake is spectacular to say the least. We were lucky to be up during a full moon. The upstairs is very nice and kids would have plenty of room. Kitchen has plenty of utensils/cookware for your needs. Could use a few more dish towels and dish cloths but we don't use dishwashers much. Best part of the trip? There is an apple tree out from the kitchen window that deer flock to during the night. We saw them every night and it absolutely made this trip more special. The stairs down to the lake are steep but we are 60/63 and as long as you have good balance you shouldn't have any issues. Lastly, the bed downstairs was comfortable which has actually been an issue with other vrbo's. IYKYK"

"Overall we had a great stay. Communication was good and the house had everything we needed. My only demerit was the cleanliness. The house has a nice deck overlooking the lake but the furniture was dirty and judging from the amount of spider webs it appears the deck is not covered by the cleaning fee. Also we had to re-wash most of the dishes as they were dirty. No complaints on the interior cleanliness."

"So much space and the host was very easy to communicate with. We had an amazing time and plenty of space for everyone. No shortage of towels and blankets. My only concern was the toys in the event room did have mold on them due to the moisture in there. Not a good place to store those. But we just kept the kids out of them."

"1. This place is very cute and the interior property pictures are spot on. The decorations are nicely understated (beach theme without being BEACH THEME). 2. The kitchen was well appointed. The pots and pans were really nice, there are quality knives and basic spices, plenty of plates/dishes/cups/silverware. Also there were nicely LOTS of games and even some books.3. The ice maker in the freezer does not work. Bring an ice machine or be prepared to purchase ice.4. This place is not on the water. There is a slight water view but only from select parts of the property. It isn't even on a back lot, but behind the house on a back lot with an easement to the water. The owner stated it was a short one minute walk but he must be in excellent shape compared to me. It took a lot longer to walk to the dock. You have to go across a street, down multiple sets of stairs (past 2 different houses) and then you are on uneven ground up against a fence for the last part of your walk. Then once you get to the water, you are at the dock. But you can't swim or fish off of the dock and the dock is rather rickety. 5. The area has loads of things to do nearby, restaurants a coffee truck and a donut shop. Plus on the water there is a food truck (is it a truck when it is floating?) and the corner store is nice plus the people working at the corner store were really helpful."
