About this property
Cozy One-Bedroom Cabin on Peaceful 38 Acres
Escape the stressors of everyday life in this small cabin nestled on 38 acres. This cabin is not only adorable, but it is less than 5 miles from the Kansas State Fair. Offering home-comforts such as a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, Wi-fi and smart TV. It is perfect for couples or families. Features a queen size bed in the bedroom plus a queen size rollaway if needed. Your four-legged friends are also welcome. The space This is a cabin that is secluded and private on 38 acres surrounded by trees. We live a quarter mile away and are available most of the time. There is cattle on the property limiting access to all 38 acres with hot wire fencing. Please message us for any questions or concerns. NOTE: there is no storm shelter on the property. Guest access You will have access of the entire cabin and the fenced in yard. There is a cattle guard at the entrance. You can go for a walk down the driveway or sit outside watching our beautiful Kansas sunsets. Enjoy our large screened in porch or BBQ outside on the patio. At this time, the inside fireplace is not available for use. Parking is available on the North side of the cabin. Other things to note We are pet friendly and ask that you never leave your pet unattended in the cabin unless they are in a crate. I would caution leaving a small pet outside chained up for long periods of time due to the possibility of wild animals like coyotes or hawks. There will be no smoking inside or outside on the property. For safety concerns, no firepits allowed on property.

The perfect place to stay while exploring Hutchison
This is a WONDERFUL little property, with fantastic amenities, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful hosts. You'll be just far enough from the main roads to feel like you're off the grid, but close enough to town to explore. We will be staying here again!!
What a great place to get away for a while! My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and this cabin was just right. We had everything we needed and will definitely keep this place in mind for our next getaway!
Very nice, clean, well maintained house. It is peaceful. The owners are very polite and willing to answer any questions. I highly recommend. I will be booking again.
A very nice and quite out of the way cabin. It was easy to find and nice and secluded but still close enough to town for anything you need. We loved the screened porch.
This was a nicely furnished, clean, and very quiet cabin. Thoughtful touches were present throughout. The climate control operated quickly, and it was nice having washer/dryer and wifi. I'd stay here again in a hearbeat! We were only 15-20 mins from the State Fairgrounds and Cosmosphere. Our host was very responsive to questions.
Great place.....very quiet and secluded but just a quick drive to town. Alissa has literally supplied the cabin with anything you'll need for a comfortable stay and is the perfect host.
Really nice cabin just on the edge of town with fantastic screened in porch. Well outfitted and just a little secluded, with quick access to the Cosmosphere, Main Street and nature areas. Would definitely stay again and much nicer than any hotels in town for about the same price.
This charming, cozy cottage was perfect for our stay! We loved the peaceful sound of nature after long, hot, tense days at the ball field. The host was attentive and so gracious. Top of our list should we return to the area!
Everything was perfect for our short stay in Hutchinson. The special touches for our pup were above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend the cozy cabin!
The family and the dogs were all super comfy and the space is perfect! Much better than a hotel and even though it rained all weekend the house with the back screened in area was relaxing and perfect! Will stay again and was right down the road from the fairgrounds. Very convenient!
The house was very clean and well kept. We appreciated all the extra's that were available (pet supplies, roll away bed, shower upplies) that arent always included in vacation rentals. We thought the house was adorably decorated and offeres us the perfect place to rest after long days at the fair grounds.
It was a perfect getaway for our family!! The quiet rural setting and comfortable furniture was relaxing for us.
The kitchen and grill helped us make delicious and enjoyable meals for ourselves. We were glad to use the laundry facilities and nap on the cozy living room furniture with soft blankets. We liked everything about the place and our stay there. Thank you SO much!! We would definitely recommend the place to friends and stay there again if we travel in the area.
Alissa's cabin is very nice! Clean, and very nicely stocked. The screened in porch is wonderful! I highly recommend anyone coming to Hutchinson to book her place. She will gladly come meet you and show you around. If we ever get back to the area we will definitely book with her again. Ray & Leenie
We were looking for a place where we felt free to relax, put our feet up, and remember how to breathe. The cabin could not have been better. It was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and the screened porch could not have been a better touch. We cooked, we read, we talked, we napped, and we revived! We hope to be back.
I brought my son out to attend Space Camp at the Cosmophere. The cabin was close to town yet right outside city limits. It was quiet and peaceful. The kids enjoyed running around playing in the yard and we could watch from the covered patio. The host was amazing and when we talked she gave us great recommendations on activities to do. We really enjoyed our week and look forward to coming back to next summer.
Where do I start with the review? So many perks with this little cabin. This cabin is tucked away down a nice long tree lined dirt road. We fell in love with this place, it’s the perfect size with the perfect decor. This cabin is very warm & comfortable. If your looking to spend time with the Lord and need to really connect with him, then this the perfect place & price. Please reach out to Alissa she is a True Blessing and is very responsive to any needs/questions you have.

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay. We knew we needed to find a place that would have a complete kitchen. Alissa had thought of everything. Our entire stay during December and January consisted of 50 nights, some during a blizzard & power outage, but ended during record high temps for January. The cabin kept us cozy and safe all while knowing our host/hostess was only a short distance away if we needed anything. They never hesitated to offer immediate assistance if we did have to call.
Warm toasty throws, wonderful linens and towels, storage space for items we brought and great decor that gave one a place to feel comfortable, relax, and heal. A Christmas tree and simple decorations and lights were a wonderful touch in December.
We had our privacy but also the convenience of being only a short distance from clinics, pharmacy, groceries, or anything one might need. This was one of our best decisions we have ever made.
