Great place for the Extended Family to Meet
We found everything we needed in the kitchen (except a 8x8 or 9x9 pan). The beds were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and yard. The property management was easy to work with (sorry we parked on the street :( we thought we were being helpful). Great time was had by the whole family in your comfortable rental: Celebrated a 95th birthday with all the family.

Large, spacious home with nice pool
We enjoyed our time in Hurricane, walking the peaceful, quiet neighborhood, playing pickleball at the city park, and swimming in the pool. It was a great place to gather with our children and grandchildren.

Welcome Break from Overlanding
We stayed at this property halfway thru a two week overlanding trip. The property was a comfortable place to land after being on the road. Having multiple options for laundry and places to hang out was great, and we loved visiting the town! I would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay for a large group!
We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion with over 20 adults and kids. The pool was fantastic! Large enough to fit everyone and the perfect temperature. There were plenty of beds for everyone to have one, along with several rooms for the adults. Easy check-in and out and the the owner was quick to respond to questions. We would go back!

We planned this trip for over a year and were thrilled with the accommodations. Our group was 10 kids and 10 adults. The house was so spacious that we never felt crowded. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had a blast!

Several comforters were stained. The pool cover had leaf debris on it that prevented us from using it until the manager gave us the green light. The dishes were still in the dishwasher, some did not get completely clean… The manger 100% watches you on the camera. The house itself is beautiful and was able to sleep my family comfortably. The outdoor space is well designed. Communication from the manager prior to check in was not great. I had to reach out twice before she responded telling me that I needed to sign something prior to getting access information. Overall we had a good time.

I am sorry to hear that you were upset with a few things about your stay. I take full responsibility for the comforters and dishwasher and will absolutely be reaching out to my team to ask them about that. But, we also could have switched those out, and emptied it ASAP if you had reached out to us. We ask that all guests let us know if there is water on the top to prevent our pool cover from breaking and the pool cover does get dirty (but that is its job, to prevent that from getting into the pool) and so when you messaged about the leaves, there was nothing stopping it from opening and we kindly told you that it was good to open and would not effect the inside of the pool. Stating that we watch you 100% on camera is also not very accurate, as that would be impossible, and yes we do check our camera (Front door) to make sure that the parking rules are met and that you do not have more people than you stated. Especially since you had such a large group. We check it from time to time but I can assuredly say that it was checked when you first arrived, and again when a neighbor notified us that there were people walking in from out on the street (which we do not allow and let you know about). It was not checked ever again. As for check-in, we sent you the rental contract that we clarified needed to be signed back in April, and you did not reply with that until the day of, to which we promptly responded with the check-in instructions as soon as that was sent. Glad you still had a good time.

Spacious Paradise in Hurricane!
The home had so much space! Everyone had a place to rest and relax and to get away! The pool was a blast, and there was plenty of parking for our group of 20 with 5 vehicles. It was awesome not to worry where we were going to park!

Fun facility that accommodated our group of 22! 3 washer and dryers was very helpful for washing towels and sheets on the last day. Paying the extra to heat the pool was a blessing for our kids. I wish they had a wall of hooks inside or outside the mudroom to hang all our swimming towels & trunks.

Great getaway location.
Bart & Michelle, I want to thank you for opening up your home. It's in a great location for all the outdoor adventures in the area. The home is well laid out to host our large large group. We cooked each night and there were all the utensils on hand to accommodate food prep. Even spices!! That was much appreciated. I look forward to coming back again soon. Great Place to Vacation!
This house is perfect for a large extended family. I think we used all the amenities, indoor and out. Of course the pool was used every afternoon after early morning hikes and adventures in and around Zion, Bryce and your state parks. One afternoon the kids even cooled off at the Hurricane Splash Pad. The house is thoroughly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The grandkids loved the bunk room and playroom. I’d recommend this house to any large family visiting in Southern Utah.

Fun for everyone and perfect for multiple families
We were looking for something close to Zion National Park that also had a lot of fun amenities. The pool was the main attraction for us but all the other little things like board games, pool table, foosball and the putting green were all loved and appreciated. Communication with the owner and property manager was easy. The house had everything we needed. The large gathering areas made it especially easy for meal time. There were little things that could be improved on, like directTV wasn’t connected, the garbage cans were full when we arrived, but it wasn’t a big deal. We weren’t there to watch TV. We were there to connect and have fun with our family and this property allowed us to do just that! Ending on a positive note, we loved how comfortable the furniture and beds were. Especially the master bedroom and main level living room couch.

We had such a great time at the Hurricane House. It was a great location, only a little over 30 minutes to Zion Park. And each afternoon we had a wonderful time lounging by the pool. Everything was so well organized and easy to find. With plenty of space for the 13 of us. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay with a large group.

The property suited our needs well for our family of 21, and we had a wonderful time. The pool was a big hit, especially with the high temperatures during the week of our stay. The outdoor furniture and set up worked well. The property manager was very responsive and helpful with our questions. The location is great and near many amenities in town.

Was exactly what we needed......
This was a great property in a great location. It was exactly what we needed for (12) adults, all friends and as part of a corporate outing / golf trip. It was very spacious, great neighbors, and we loved the kitchen area for preparing meals and entertaining. They made the whole process very easy and all of the instructions on check-in and out where very clear. Thanks for making your home available, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous property with tons of beds, places to hang out, and fun activities (pool, hot tub, foosball, pool table, board games, play room, putting green, etc). Beds were comfy and plentiful. Couches were abundant, as was the dining seating. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was decorated for Christmas with much more than an obligatory holiday tree. It felt so homey and loved. Overall the home was clean. A couple of minor details could be attended too like dirty ceiling fan blades. But truly a pleasant, comfortable stay for people of all ages.

Our family (11) had a fabulous time for the week. The house was perfect. It was spacious, clean and well furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped. Two refrigerators handled all our needs. The pool was clean and was very convenient for escaping the heat. I highly recommend this house for large family gatherings.

Beautiful home
The property is in excellent shape after the recent renovations. We stayed there for a family trip to Zion with 4 generations. Kids enjoyed the pool mostly, but also the basketball hoop and putting green. There are tons of games in the basement play area for rainy days, we didn’t have any of those though. The kids also loved the 2nd floor play room full of toys. Pool was very clean for the whole visit. Like every pool some skimming is required in the morning to clear minor debris. A previous post mentioned the palmetto bugs visiting at night, this is standard for their environment. They don’t bother anyone, no signs inside the house at all. Property manager Elora was very responsive the entire time, could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend staying here for a big group.

Dated house in disrepair with disrespectful owner
Let me start with the bad: when we pulled up to this nice house in a nice neighborhood we were greeted with 5-6 cans of overflowing garbage. The inside of the house is spacious but dated. The master bathroom shower has a horrible sewer odor. The beds in the other bedrooms were so hard my guests referred to them as sleeping on a kitchen table. We rented the house for the outdoor space. The hottub was old, worked well, but was dirty and water was cloudy. When we opened the pool it was very dirty, water was very cloudy, and the water was not circulating. We tried to play basketball but the ball was flat. The putting green had weeds growing up through the artificial turf. The sitting area was infested with mice and cockroaches. Next the really bad: we called the manager to ask for the pool and hottub to be cleaned and ask what do we do with our garbage. She said someone would come the next day to clean the pool and pick up the garbage. The next day someone came but all she did was put the automatic vacuum in the pool and left. No one came for the garbage. We called the manager again. This time she said the pool cleaner needed special equipment and would be back later. Several hours later the cleaner came back and stated working. He told us the filters were clogged and not working. He said he would clean it and the pool should be ready by the next day. Now for the unacceptable: we called the manager back and expressed our disappointment that the pool was not usable for 50% of our stay. Combined with the other issues we would like a refund of some of the fee. She told us we were exaggerating, the pool guy said everything was just fine but she would give us $100 for the trash. We asked to speak to the owner. We explained our issues to the owner, we explained that we are pool owners and that pool has been neglected for a long time. We told her that $100 was not sufficient to cover all our issues and the loss of pool usage for 1/2 our stay. The owner actually said we were exaggerating and if we don't zip our lip she will not even give us $100. The house is pretty expensive to be in this state of disrepair. When you combine the overall lack of accountability and customer service from the management it is best if you skip this house for your next vacation.

We are sad to see that you didn't enjoy your time at our property. We intend to make every stay a great one! If there were any issues upon arrival we apologize. We are sad to see that your review was not completely accurate to what happened. We have dealt with many guests over the years and we have never had to deal with someone that demanded money from us. We also feel that the way you treated our property staff and myself was very disrespectful and not professional. The property is attended to on a regular schedule and we do not intend to make your experience dreadful. We do admit that the trash was supposed to be attended to and we felt that it was very fair to refund you $100. The rest of the property is kept to a high standard and we have spent a lot of time and money hiring great vendors and services to keep it running smoothly. Again we wanted your experience to be a good one, and we are sad that you felt your stay was not that.

Good house overall.
Everything you need for a house functioning is there. Quiet and convenient location. Great pool and jacuzzi. Only dishwasher seems not working and gas tank for the grill almost empty but those are minor issues. All bathrooms are in master bedroom and that's a little inconvenient.

Fantastic house for a big group
We really enjoyed this house. It was exactly as advertised and shown. The kids loved the pool, pool table and foosball. Plenty of room for 21 people. There are two refrigerators and freezers and the pantry is well stocked. Only thing the house could use is a couple more decent sized trash cans. Owners were great. It is an easy and pretty 30 min drive to Zion hiking. Lots of other things to do in the area. There is a challenging hike less than a mile from the house.

Hurricane "Retreat" was an accurate description!
Only stay here if you love to relax and get away from it all! My family and I love every thing about this rental from comfortable beds, to all the amenities this rental has it all. The location is can't be beat. While we took advantage of the close distance to Zion and Snow Canyon for some hiking, you really wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want to. The only thing wrong with the place was we couldn't stay longer... Our first day we were already talking about how soon we could return! Thanks for the wonderful memories, just like Arnold "We will be back!!"

We had a nice stay for thanksgiving. There were a few problems at check-in but we’re resolved super quickly. Great communication with owner. The beds need updating and the house, in general, is older. No big concerns for our family if 28! Kids used the pool all day- everyday. We paid extra to have it heated which made it so comfortable for the winter swimming. They have a great pool table but broken ques. We had to buy our own to use at Walmart. Foozball was also great fun. Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances (plus my 3 cookie sheets I forgot to bring home!) very spacious kitchen.

Loved the property!
Overall we would stay again at this property. The neighbors on both sides were very nice. Gave helpful information. There were 13 grandchildren ages 5 to 18 and 10 adults. Everyone had plenty to do. Suggestions Lay in the beds so you know which ones need new mattresses. The number given for the electrical never got back to us. The pool was fantastic the cover needs attention. Location was great for large families

Great week in a great home
Came for a 50th wedding anniversary with the parents and their kids’ families. This home accommodated all adult couples so well (private bedrooms) and the bunk room was perfect for all the kids. There was great common area to eat and play games together. There was also great areas to “get away” and have some privacy. Downstairs had 2 separate areas, the main floor had an area and the upstairs had space. The outside was great too. Being the summer the pool was perfect for younger kids but the adults loved it too. Hurricane is nicely secluded and the home is in a great neighborhood but you are still 20-30 minutes from St. George and near Zion’s. We went to Tuacahn Theatre, spent a morning at the Dinosaur Tracks museum, couple of days of hanging together at the house and some sightseeing. This house was perfect for all of it. There was a problem with the garage door and it was resolved immediately. Everything was clean and the house had everything you’d ever need to cook and play around.

House not what it once was!
We stayed at this property approximately 3 years ago, it WAS immaculate. We booked with the same expectation. We arrived at the house to find all three garbage cans stuffed to overflowing with trash. There were also 6 additional bags of trash sitting on the ground in front of the cans. The smell was terrible, as the weather was so hot. I had no idea what we were going to do with our trash. It was an omen of the difficulties we would encounter through our whole trip. When we moved the cover back on the pool we found a nasty green colored pool with tons of sunscreen floating at the top with a broken vacuum. We couldn’t use the pool. I texted the owner and then called her after an hour with no response. Michelle was nice but not convinced about the pool. We sent her pics and she promised to have a pool guy there that night or next morning. (Didn’t happen until the 3rd day) In the meantime my brother and his wife got the pool back in shape by cleaning it themselves. It took over three hours to clean in 106+ temperatures. For which we were rebated the slim figure of $60. Michelle asked that we put our trash in the garage, right next to the kitchen, with 106+ temps, as a solution to the trash concern. When told that was unacceptable, she did have someone come and remove the trash but he was quite unhappy about his assignment and let us know it. (Still not sure who he was) It was a lot of little things wrong in the house that just made the stay annoying and hard. Things that WERE wonderful three years ago, here is a list. -The shower in the basement does not drain -The same shower’s handle broke off on our second day and couldn’t be used, taking us down a shower with 20 people in the house to bath. (Michelle promised a plumber but we never saw one) -The ice maker and water dispenser is broken in the fridge, leaving us to drink lukewarm tap water. -Top bunk beds were not made, leaving us to make them ourselves. -The plugs in the kitchen are broken and do not work. -Not enough towels. Bath and pool. -Bed frame is broken in the Paris room, creating a sink hole of a bed. -Washing machine is full of sludge and the bedding smelled bad on the beds. Overall the owners tried to fix some things but others were left unsatisfactory. I don’t know who is maintaining this property now but they are doing a poor job. Wouldn’t stay again.
