"Older out dated but very clean enjoyed our stay"

"I had another great stay at Auberge Eldo Inn in Blind River. I’ve stayed here before, and it’s clear the new manager has made many positive changes—the motel is noticeably cleaner and well maintained. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and check-in was smooth and quick. I really appreciated that they helped carry my luggage to the room, which was a nice touch. The room itself was very spacious and came equipped with a coffee maker, microwave, and fridge, making the stay very convenient. Fresh hand, face, and bath towels were provided, and everything felt clean and comfortable. The motel is quiet and relaxing, perfect for a good night’s rest. There’s also a large parking area, which is very convenient. Another bonus is the vending machine at the entrance, offering a variety of snacks, chocolates, and drinks. Overall, a comfortable, clean, and well-managed place with excellent service. I would definitely stay here again."

"The room was OK, but needs maintenance. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain, the toilet seat was extremely loose and the shower curtain was ‘cheap.” The view of the bay is quite outstanding and the beach is a real added touch. "

"The house was clean and tidy. It was comfortable. There were nice books to read, and games on display to play. Kid friendly. The TV is a ROKU, so you would need to log in to your streaming account. The internet worked well. The kitchen had utensils, pots, pans, towels, scissors, batteries, dish soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper/ spices etc. The fridge and freezer were clean. The bathroom had soaps, band aids and general toiletries which was convenient. The entrance had a bucket of salt if the stairs were slippery which was helpful, since I stayed in the winter months. Spare blankets, and a variety of pillows were available as well. "

"This house is ideal for a quiet getaway. The kitchen was roomy, well equipped and everything worked well. Not many restaurants close by so the ability to cook was essential. Even has a slow cooker, allowing us to explore all day and have friends over for dinner. Owner was immediately responsive to my question when the internet briefly went out. A beautiful back yard, complete with a bird sanctuary, made for a peaceful, enjoyable stay. "
