Nice place

Property was in a residential neighborhood. It was very clean and neat. The location was just around the corner from Redstone Arsenal. It was convenient to get to everything in Huntsville from the property.

Phelitia’s Cozy Cottage

Actually one of several quadplexes in the gated complex, Pheletia Turner has this one all dolled up. Everything to need to enjoy our stay was provided and Pheletia was quick to respond to any questions I had. Convenient location within just a few miles of anytime Huntsville has to offer. We will definitely be staying here again when back in the Huntsville area.

Served Our Purpose

We were in town for AAMU Homecoming so we only used the unit to sleep and freshen up. For the most part, it was just as described. It is listed to sleep 3. There is room in the bedroom for a blow up mattress for a small child otherwise the third person would be on the couch. It is listed as "gated" which it is, but the gate was open the entire time during our stay. Although the gate was open, we didn't experience any issues with security. The small community was peaceful and calm. The "front door" of the unit is in the bedroom and the only TV was in the living room area. Again it served our purpose, and I would stay there again.

Disappointing

We arrived around 5:30pm. AC was not working, temperature was 76 and rose to 77. We had trouble communicating with host in a timely manner. It was supposed to be non-smoking but had a definite oder of some type of smoke. Host said we could get a refund so we decided to leave and drive on home for 5 more hours instead of staying the night and visiting botanical garden as we had planned. Not a relaxing end to our vacation. Very disappointing.
